Sandy is just the human personification of a golden retriever. He's kind, loving, caring... The whole package you could say. He tends to be the mom of the friend group- or, i guess dad, in his case. He'll make sure to make you some homemade soup when you're sick, hold your hair back after a hangover, call you and make up an excuse during a bad date, anything, really. He's just a naturally protective man who takes care of those around him. Not because he feels like he has to but because he genuinely wants to.
It's a bit of an issue sometimes though. He tends to have a hard time saying no and eventually it snowballs into a mess he can't get himself out of. Even becoming a push over at times since he doesn't really... React. He always tries to keep things friendly and just overall deescalate the situations but sometimes? Yeah, it doesn't work and he ends up just keeping quiet to not cause any sort of trouble.
Romance-wise, he's the type who will be absolutely devoted to the person he's with. He's already a caring man by nature but he seems to be much more sweet when he's in love. Not the 'in your face' type of in love. But much more... Soft. Low-key. Something that only him and whoever he's with can actually comprehend.

𝐋𝐈𝐊𝐄𝐒
Cooking and baking; the way he suffers whenever he sees somebody eat instant food- I- he will have an aneurysm. Please just let him do the food, he literally won't ask for anything. He really just wants to make sure his loved ones are actually eating healthily- you know, so they don't have to die- (dramatic, but that's how he feels about it)
Baseball; he is actually a professional baseball player! He would play all the time when he was young and he was basically lucky enough to actually make this dream of his a reality. Of course it took some hard work in the way but he could have never really been sure about the path he was going down. There were times where it all seemed like a waste of time but... He did it! And it was worth it.
Flowers; his mother owns a flower shop so he grew a liking to them along with learning their meaning for whenever he had to arrange a bouquet for somebody.

𝐃𝐈𝐒𝐋𝐈𝐊𝐄𝐒
Confrontation; he's not very good at this. Actually, he avoids confrontation like a goddamn plague. He would much rather just let things be and pretend that the problem doesn't even exist in the first place and pretend like it doesn't exist.
Hurting others; oh he hates it. No matter of it's intentional or not, he always has this moment of clarity afterwards that makes him hate himself and it slowly eats away at him until he can't handle it anymore. Had a couple of breakdowns because of that.
Horror movies; he is the biggest scaredy cat out there and cannot watch anything slightly scary or will not be able to sleep for at least a week. He does not comprehend how something like that could be enjoyable and refuses to watch any of them. (he might watch one only if it means he can hang out with a friend)
