Your breath became poison in your throat as your feet stopped you against the alternating tile. Surely not much farther, you hoped. Just as the door behind you chimed shut, a whirring mechanical door lowered, slamming itself down. Your luck seemed to have graced you for a final time as the overhead announcement burst to life.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, thank you for visiting, and we hope you enjoyed the show! Freddy and the gang are pretty tired, but they'll be back again next week after a few days of scheduled maintenance."

Oh. Joy.

Before you could gather your thoughts, a whirring buzz filled your ears and you felt two painfully strong grips on your upper arms, followed by a deafening screech. Opening your eyes you saw a bug-eyed robot staring empty daggers at you. That sound surely didn't mean confetti and party hats, so you darted in the other direction as soon as it's grip loosened, and looking over your shoulder you realized that was a good idea considering the growing number of security robots pooling in the main room.

A fair ways between neon pillars and wall murals was a doorway into a photography room, it was small but packed with various branded plushies and cutouts but you had not paid much attention to these details as you heard familiar boot-clad steps and low grumbles. The doorknob had started to wiggle as you ducked under a barely-open garage door, crawling underneath with all the speed you could muster. Finally standing up to a robot and human-less room, you had an extra moment to take in your surroundings, stopping only once to pick up a piece of paper stuck to the bottom of your foot. Conveniently, it was a map, and you flipped it this way and that until you could read the "YOU ARE HERE" font.

"The Atrium," You read aloud.

The room was massive and evenly organized. In glass containers were paraphernalia unknown to you, ranging from guitars to hooks to... robot skeletons? You were no engineer, so whatever hellish mechanism it was could stay inside those cases for all you cared. To your left was a wall divided into four neon-labeled rooms, one covered by curtains, one seemingly shut down for maintenance, and the other two open but you were unable to properly peer into them at your distance.

"Are you sure she went this way?" An unknown feminine voice sighed from the other side of the room.

"There's nowhere else she could have gone, ma'am. She's smart enough to not go in the direction of your security bots." The responding voice sent chills down your spine.

"Those things can't see three feet in front of them. I can send out the Glamrocks and Attendants, if you want. Those things are basically human."

"Just find her."

The pair of footsteps got closer and your heart dropped. The only way for you to go without being spotted was to your left which was a rope-lined pathway to a sliding orange door. It was already open a sliver and you pried it open, and taking no time to investigate the room you entered and slamming the door shut, pressing your forehead against it to catch your breath and footing. As you finally thought you could find peace for even a moment, a mechanical, low voice leaned down into your ear.

"You are not supposed to be in here, superstar."
