I walked into the hotel, well it was something. The lady at the front desk had a half and half smile when she saw me. It took her eyes a full minute look me up and down before finally meeting my face. "Hi I booked a room the names Romanoff" I said watching as her face changed with every word I said. She scowled down at what I imagine would be a computer ahead of her. I took this time to have a look round the building appeared to be made of some type of stone and wood but with this I won't be too hopeful for my room. She placed the keys down on the wooden desk ahead of her with a heavy hand I moved mine to sweep onto hers and grab them as I made my way to walk up the stairs.

As I was on the landing I had another person enter the building I doubt that it would be Maximoff but at this rate I didn't know anything. I tried to listen in on the conversation but honestly it wasn't that exciting to women both with thick sokovin accent it was hard to tell what they were really saying but for the second time I heard the loud smack of the keys hit in the wood and I ran to my assigned room leaving no sound traces to justify that I had been there. I let my head rest against the wood of the door.

It only took a quick glance across the room to prove to me why the resptionist has been in such a mood. I knew I wasn't gonna risk staying here. The woman that had come in after me was making her way into her room. I could tell from the creaking floors and the disruption of weight be low me.

I let my ear rest against the wall as I tried to making out what she was saying if she was saying anything. I heard a sigh 'same girl same' and the weight shift around again. I had a familiar feeling of regret as I reached for my phone. Fury had been texting me the mission plan, of course being me I was prepared to completely ignore this and do what I want. Despite this I opened the file, it was filled with sightings of her and other stuff that could be considered important but honestly I didn't care.

I set my bag down on the bed followed by myself by the condition of the room I knew I wasn't going to be spending the night in this place. The creaking of the floor began again and I could tell whoever was on the other side of the wall was having the same disgusted reaction is Me.

I emptied the few belongings of my bag out of to the bed and began to sort through them, there wasn't much but setting apart the few clothes from the guns and other weapons was a small time filler as I imagine i could be left bored her for a few days.

I relaxed back on the bed and began to take the room probably in. Was there much to say about it apart from it being a shithole? No. But it did spark a train of thought as I was brought back to that mystery woman. Why would she come here unless forced to? This was probably the biggest question of them all, nobody would come here if it wasn't for a good reason. She spoke sokovian and had a heavy accent so I'm guessing she was born here and her voice was one full of youth but by the simple muttering that all I could gather on her. What if it was Wanda? Is she here to kill me? Honestly that was kinda a stupid question because I don't imagine us to playing tea parties in a literal death hole.

There's a small whole in the wall connecting our rooms obviously in not a creep but for my to kill the right target I need to know who was to my right. I take a small breath and wait for the intrusive thoughts to disappear. They often tell me that I'm getting ahead of myself thinking that my target is the first lead I get but I always try to push through them. I got up and leaned the top half of my body towards the wall?

I got covid so life sucks you know cause like I'm actually ill with it so I've just been rewatching b99 for the past week.
