CH 12: Mama Kana

***HOSPITAL***

"Mr. Park! Nice to see you again. Are you with your child's father today?" Dr. Copter smiled like the kind man he was. He sat in his chair across the table just like ever. Kana politly smiled at the older man and sighed joyfully, "Yeah." The doctor could see the happiness in his face that had so clearly been missing the last time he came. Seeing two men beside him, the doctor smiled, "Seems like you're here with the baby's father this time." "I am." Kana smiled even wider, They're really here with me. Baby, your fathers love you, mama's sorry to have been worried all along na~ Forgive me please? 

Copter nodded, "So... may I know who-" Kana cut him off, "We're polyamorous. So, both of them are the fathers." For a candid second, Copter was taken back, shocked. But then, who was he to judge people, especially when they looked so much in love. "Looks like the kid's going to be spoilt a lot, then?" he chuckled, getting up and preparing for the ultrasound after a small general check-up on Kana, something Tae and Mew did not like. Well who would like to see a man touching their man? 

The doctor spread the cold gel over Kana's swollen belly as his two men kept their eyes closed to not to hurt the man. "So bold now, huh?" Tae teased with a smirk, remarking on when Kana had explicitly announced their relationship to the doctor without a second thought. A shade of red invaded Kana's cheeks, "Should I not have?" Do they not want to say what we have? Did I use the wrong words? His eyes fell, dull as dead. And his forehead creased in despair. Mew saw that and sighed, He's become such a worrywart, and kissed his head, "We were just teasing you, baby. We love to know you accept us." This surely lifted the hormonal man's mood easily. "Once this is done, we'll get some ice-cream, then go home and cuddle the whole day, alright?" Tae suggested and both his lovers nodded with big, round, happy eyes. 

The doctor kept himself busy with making reports on the fetus and tried to make the least sound possible, not wanting to disturb their sweet moments. Although, he wanted to just squeal at this rate. 

"So, there is a good and a bad news," Copter stated with his lips pursed, enhancing his dimples, and eyes sternly staring at the report he had just made. The three looked at him intetly, waiting for another word and Mew requested, "The bad one first." Copter raised his brow  at him and continued after heaving a sigh. "Mr. Park, have you been losing appetite nowadays? Is there something you're stessed about? Is our routine hectic or messed?" Copter interviewed the pregnant man who had unconsciously vined his arms around his belly. The fear and confusion in his eyes was evident. Kana shook his head, biting his lips as he tried to not miss a detail, "I've been eating fine... I think. My routine hasn't been good, though. A- And a little stress." "And may I ask why?" Copter tried his luck. "These two weren't around, my friends had been taking care of me. I w- was a little stressed that they won't take this news well. Though I was just overthinking," Kana sighed apologetically. 

"Well, I can't say anything for the overthinking and stress now. You'll be working more on hormones and emotions than rationality now," the doctor smiled his condolences, "And that stress I would say is legitimate since male pregnancies are rare and it's hard to believe at times. The first such case I dealt with, the couple was actually trying for kids so it was not much of a hassle. And it was easier since he was a pure hermaphrodite unlike Mr. Park here. He had delivered perfectly healthy triplets back then." All the three knew to do was nod.
