Divergent high

Two days before the wedding

I lay there in bed with my head on Tobias's chest who is still asleep. It's 6:00 in the morning, although I've been up since 4:00. I haven't been able to sleep this whole week, it's the week before the wedding and today my mom wants to see the gang to talk to us about something. I lay there staring at the clock, twirling my hair in my fingers, and listen to the steady rhythm of Tobias's heart beat.

I decide to get up and make some coffee. I slip out of Tobias's arms and walk over to the coffee pot and press start, then I decide to take a shower I walk into the bathroom and turn on the water. I slip out of my pjs and let down my hair out of my messy bun and step in my shower. I stand there with the water running over my head trying to clear my mind, I finish my shower and turn off the water. I step out of the shower and grab a towel and wrap myself in it, then take another towel and wrap up my hair. I walk out of the bathroom quietly, trying not to wake Tobias. I walk into my closet and scan through my clothes, I feel someone's arms wrap around my waist.
"Morning beautiful" Tobias whispers in my ear then presses his lips to my neck.
"Morning handsome" I say while pulling out a elegant yet casual black dress, I turn around and face him, then press my lips to his. I walk over bathroom and he follows me in.
"Tobias I don't need help getting dressed"
"Then I'm hear for support" Tobias says while leaning against the door frame.
"Bye Tobias" I say while shutting the door in his face.
I brush and blow dry my hair. Then slip into my dress but I can't reach the zipper, I laugh at myself, I actually need Tobias to help me get dressed.
I walk out and and say sarcastically,
"Tobias you dream came true today"
"Really!...which one"
"You get to help me get dressed" I laugh at the end after I say that.
He gets up and walks over to me I turn around for him to zipper it up. He grabs the zipper and zips slowly up to the top, then slips his arms around my waist.
I turn around in his grip and lay my hands on his chest, he pulls my body against his.
"So what are we going to do today" he says with his lips against my neck.
"While me and the girls are going dress shopping and you and guys are going tux shopping" I say while slipping out of his grip and walking over to the coffee pot.
"Noooooo I hate shopping" Tobias says while flopping on the bed.
"Excuse me I'm stuck with Christina all day shopping, it's going to be torture." I say while sipping my coffee.
"Your right i shouldn't be complaining" Tobias says while propping himself on his elbows.
"Yeah you shouldn't be" I say while sitting down on the couch
"Soooo you should let me come with you and I'll hide in the dressing room and then watch you try on dresses"
"NO you are not seeing that dress until I come into your sight line when I walk into that church"
"Fine" Tobias says while flopping back on the bed.

*time lapse*

"CHRISTINA I LOOK LIKE A FREAKIN PUFFER FISH" I yell while Marlene, Shauna, and Lynn are laughing there butts off.
"At least your a cute puffer fish"
"NO"
"Fine"
I walk back into the dressing and see a big sparkled puffy ball room gown. I walk out and everyone gasps.
"It's beautiful" Shauna says
"Tris your gorgeous" Marlene says.
"Oh tris it's perfect" Christina says.

Lynn POV
Tris is standing there in this hideous dress that everyone seems to like but I can tell tris hates it. Then she starts crying and runs into the dressing room.
"What's the matter with her" Shauna says. That ticks me off.
"Yeah" Marlene and Christina agree.
"ARE YOU GUYS BLIND SHE HATES THAT DRESS SHES CRYING IN THERE BECAUSE ALL YOU GUYS HAVE BEEN FOCUSING ON IS WHAT YOU LIKE NOT WHAT TRIS LIKES, IT HER WEDDING!" I shout at them. Then I walk into Tris's dressing room, and there she sitting holding the dress that everyone liked in her lap sobbing.
"Oh Tris" I say and come sit next to her.
"I can't do it they love it so much but I hate it" she says with tears rolling down her cheeks.
"Tris let me try picking out a dress" I say and she nods.
I walk out and walk past the ball room gowns then enter a section label small. I look at some dresses then a dress catches my eye. It's a very pale blue strapless dress with very gorgeous elegant lace that covers the whole dress. It would tight at the top then hangs straight down, not puffy at all, and is longer in the back so it drags behind her. Then it has a cute little pink ribbon at the waist. It's perfect I think to myself and grab it. I look at the price it's over budget but it will be my wedding present to her. I walk into the dressing room with the dress behind my back. Then I hold it up and she starts crying.
"Lynn it's perfect" she slips into it and it fits her groves perfectly.
"Thank you so much" and then she hugs me, I don't very often hug back but I'm so happy for her I do. We walk out to the others and they gasp. Tris stands there looking in the mirror crying because she loves it so much.
"Tris it's perfect" Christina says while hugging her.
"Tris it's totally you" Shauna says while joining in on her hug.
"Tris your beautiful" Marlene says and joins in to.
"I am not" tris says while wiping the tears from her eyes, mascara running every where.
"Beatrice Prior you are gorgeous and we all know it" Christina says with her hands on her hips. They all group hug and then tris says,
"Come on Lynnypoo you know you want in on this hug" I roll my eyes and walk over and join in on the hug.
