Ex (yuck)

I wake up to my phone buzzing.
C- hey I'll be there in 10 to pick u up
T- pick me up for what
C- school
T- dang it its Monday gtg bye
C-😂bye
I get up and run and brush my hair and teeth. I decide to not dress fancy to day. I put my hair in a high pony tail and pick out a purple tank top and athletic pants. I put my flip flops on grab my back pack and phone and head out the door. I stand outside for a couple minutes and then Christina arrives I hop in the car and she starts driving. We get to school and run in cause we're late. I quickly get to my locker grab my math book and head to class. I take a seat in the back and open my book. My ex-boyfriend, Ken, came and sat next to me he smirked at me and I rolled my eyes. I hated this boyfriend I broke up with him after the our third date. I broke up with him because all he want to do was make out he only enjoyed looking at me. The bell rings signaling for our next class I get up and run out I'm at my locker when someone turns me around pins me against the locker and says, "did you miss me, "and then kisses me. I kick him where it hurts, elbow in the face and then bend down to where he is scrunched down and say,"do you miss me know." He calls me something that stops me in my tracks I turn around and charge at him I smash him into the locker and he falls to the floor. I keep kicking him in the ribs again and again. Until some grabs me and pulls me back I can get out of his grip. It's Tobias. "Don't you ever call me that," I say and he nods slowly cause it hurts. I walk to my next class and me and Tobias text each other.
T- so who was that
Me- oh an ex
T- y did u beat him up
Me- because he kissed me
T-... Oh
Me- yeah all he liked me for is for my looks
Me- and he call me a name
T- oh the swear word you think is offensive
Me- all swear words are offensive

(A/n I have to put this out there have you ever noticed that all swear words and female animals. Sorry now back to the story)

T- sorry
Me- good bye

The bell rings and we leave the class room for lunch. Tobias sees my ex and he slips his hand around my waist. "You know I love you right," I say looking up at him. "Yes I do," he says looking down at me. I laugh and rest my head against his shoulder. We walk over to our friends and sit down. I see Ken make his way over to me he opens up his mouth but I stop him.

"Why don't you just turn around and leave before I break you."

"Oh I don't think that will happen this time. "

He tries to punch me but I dodge it and I just skims Tobias. "Ooooohhhhh his gonna get it now," Zeke and Uriah whisper to each other but say loud enough that Ken can hear.

"Oh come on I'm not afraid of this guy."

Tobias is slouching so he looks short and stubbed. Then he pushes his chair away from the table and stands up. He towers over Ken buy a half foot or so. Me and Christina start giggling. Tobias picks him up by the collar and you can see the fear in ken's eye. Tobias says,

"If you ever come near me or my friends again I will hurt you, but if you ever come with in a ten foot radius of my girlfriend you will feel pain like there no tomorrow."

I start blushing when Tobias says that. And Christina giggles and I through my pizza crust at her. She glares at me and I smile innocently. Tobias comes and sits down by me again and I kiss him they everyone makes a noise like they're dying I glare at all of them and they stop.

*TIME LAPSE*

Schools over and me and Christina decide to go to the park. When we get there we go climb our favorite tree the big maple. When we get a ways up the tree we sit in comfortable silence until Christina says, "hey Tris do you want to try out for the volleyball team." I nod and we climb do the tree. We get in the car and drive back to school we run in and everyone is still practicing. I see Lauren and her friends with their really tight spandex that make me want to throw up. I borrow a pair of Christina's "back up" shoes since I'm wearing flip flops. Me and her play pepper, I start. I bump she sets, which she's amazing at, and a spike it down she lays out for it but misses it by a hair. The the coach comes out and says, "everyone who wants to play volleyball on the base line. Everyone lines up on the base line the she says, "setters on court one," Christina goes to court one, "back row on court two, middles on court three, and liberos and hitters on court four." I walk over to court four and I notice I'm the shortest one there. The coach comes over to our court and says, "hitters on the right side of the net and liberos on the other." I stay on the side and coach is looking at me like I'm on the wrong side. I get in the right side hitting line. It's my turn he slaps the ball I start my approach he throws the ball. I contact the ball making it slam the ground the libero dove for the ball and missed. Coach stops and looks at me and starts clapping. He points to a group of taller girls and says, "go practice with them." I walk over to them Christina's there she squeals and says, "we're on the varsity team!" We jump up and down with excitement. When practices our over and everyone is leaving coach pulls me and Christina aside. "You girls were by far the most talented girls out there I was wondering if you guys would come play for my club team?" We look at each other and say in unison, "yes!" Then we walk out of the gym with huge smiles. Christina and I walk to the car and then I notice I for got my flip flops so I run back inside. I walk down the empty hll way to my locker and grab my flip flops when I turn around someone is kissing me. Ken. I squirm and try to get away but I can't. Then he pulls back and then kisses me again and I keep squirming. I feel one of his fingers on my bare skin at then BANG a bomb went off inside of me. I flip out I start kicking and punching everything I can grab of Ken. I kick hit twice where it hurts he stops kissing. Punch his nose and I hear a crack and smile, I kick his ribs really really hard and hear another crack. I step on both of his hands and he yells in pain I say, "I told you I would break you." And with that I punch him knocking him unconscious. I turn around and see Uriah and Zeke standing there speechless. I don't even say anything I just walk right pass and run to Christina.
