You Found Me | ACT 1 EP 2

I've vomited every last piece of whatever they fed me. It felt like I was punched in the stomach, with both guilt and unknown food. A rat scurried to taste of what I've gagged. I better get used to it too, I gagged once again. 

Where am I now, you may ask? I don't exactly know but I am certainly still in the undercity. I covered half of my face as I walk around the strange alleyways and act strong, cause it's what I might need to survive this place. 

Vi did not give out any more word to me as I exited out of that place. No Mylo, Claggor, Ekko, or even Powder to see me go... Only Vi who stood her ground and from what I remember, she said, "The undercity will eat you alive."

I'm lost and cold. I still haven't found my way out. So, I rested my back to the cold brick wall to rest for awhile and just to calm myself down. "The undercity will eat you alive." It sent shiver down to my spine having a vague thought of them actually eating me.  If only there's someone out there willing to help... I thought of a hero but then felt a little embarrassed to think of something that childish.

Two enforcers walked passed by me, and to my instincts--I hid behind the huge barrel as I watch them go by. And another... and another... and another...? There's so many of them... Why is that?

As I was about to find my escape route, my feet were lifted off the ground and watched as the barrel shrank from my view. I was lifted up and shaken, I couldn't manage to look. "Please don't eat me," I wished under my breath. I heard a soft familiar laugh, it was quiet but good enough to recognize. I turned to look and saw Vi smirking.

"What are you...?" I looked at her confused and then Vi covered my mouth. 

"Shh, we're taking you with us. We'll explain later," She said, in a serious tone. It felt like I was on the mission with them but still left me with so many questions. I shove away her hand and asked, "How did you find me...? And why?" Ekko appeared behind her shadow, waving a hello. I'm not so mad at him so I waved back awkwardly. "No time. Ekko, are we clear to go?"

"Yes, ma'am! We should be able to go through these boundaries without being seen."

"Good, now head down, Muffin."

"Wha-?" She then swiftly carried me on her back as she sprints and follow Ekko leading our way. "Sorry I have to carry you like this but we need to hurry up and I remembered how badly scraped your knees are!" She yelled, just the right amount for only us to hear. We got into closed spaces which was still no hassle for her. 

I wonder if I'm really that light or she's THAT strong. I forgot to respond to her and just held on tightly over her shoulders. I closed my eyes, scared of bugs getting caught on.

After few minutes, I hear everyone's voice one by one.

"Why did you bring her too?!" It sounded like Mylo.

"Is she okay?" That one's Claggor.

I opened my eyes slowly as Vi whispered to me softly, "We're here now." She put me down enough for me to reach the ground and stand on my own. I saw Powder gasped and ran towards me to give me a hug. I hugged back, unknowing of how much I'd miss her too. She mumbled through my dirty clothes, "Please don't leave me again."

I looked at Vi explaining to others. Just the right time for me to have a one on one talk with Powder. I faced her and cupped her cheeks seeing how sad she looked. "I won't, I'll protect you." She went in for a long hug again. After Vi finishes talking to them, she turned to see us talking. 

She walked towards us and says, "May I borrow her for a minute, Pow?" Powder looks at me and I gave her a smile. Her look gave something like; she knew the last time Vi and I talked alone, I left. "Go play with Ekko and the others, first. I promise we'll be there just a sec," Vi assured.
