After the meeting with the Cullens, Eboni thought, it was best to take Paul and Caius somewhere they could be alone.
So they could talk and understand more about each other. Caius was new, different from the both of them. Neither human or shifter. He was a mystery to both Paul and her.
She also knew that Caius coven would want to know more about both Paul and her, especially since Marcus could see the connects like her.
Eboni looked over at Paul, then over to the pack who hadn't wandered far. Glancing at Leah, who's eyes kept glancing at Marcus confused then proceeding to growl at the rest of the vampires that surrounded him. Then over to Quil and Seth with a bit of an odd look.
"Paul, can you take us to somewhere more private away from the Cullens...away from the reserve....Leah, Quil, Seth. You need to come with us..." Eboni said more as an order then a request which made Sam growl in warning at her and the pack.
Eboni whipped her head in his direction "Do not argue with me Sam! I know what I'm doing, so shut up and go home with the rest! I will send them home when we are done" she barked the order at him. In that moment all the wolves even the vampires straightened at the tone of authority that Eboni held over them.
Caius and Paul could help the matching smirk, and sense of overwhelming pride that washed over them both.
Paul leaned down so she could climb on to his back. As soon as he was sure she was secure. He started running towards their next location. It didn't take long for them to get there.
Once they arrived Eboni hopped back down. Going to stand in front of the three kings again. Her eyes glancing over all of the coven taking note of what she saw.
Looking at all of the unclear golden images that seemed to appear around them. Her eyes settling on Caius. Smiling to him sweetly.
Marcus surprised everyone and spoke first "Ciao, figlio del destino. ti ho aspettato più a lungo di quanto tu possa immaginare "
Caius looked over bewildered by his brother, he spoke up looking at Eboni "he says, hello child of fates, I have waited for you longer then you could imagine. Marcus! What on earth are you even saying, child of the fates??"
Marcus smiled and nodded, his eyes never leaving Eboni " This child is powerful. Have you seen anyone who can physically use the bonds, I can see them, but to use them to physically pull someone toward them. I'm sure this is not all she is capable of"
Eboni tilted her head to the side "Wait! You can see the threads too! I can only really see mine the most clearly, everything else is like a shimmer....like I can see a vague image of a broken chain...coming out of your chest." She said as she looked at his chest.
Paul moved his head to block Eboni from leaning closer to the vampires, as he did, he noticed that her eyes looked cloudy
"Can I come closer to you?" She asked Marcus, everyone who watched her could tell her eyes weren't exactly focused. Well, not focused on anything that they could see. Before she could even get an answer. She was standing right in front of Marcus.
Her hands gently raised to touch the center of his chest. Where she could see a black colored chain, it looked as if it was charred and breaking more. She gently raised her hand touching it, as she did. It's as if it dissolved under her touch.
Marcus practically let out a sigh of relief as she did this. Emotions that he hadn't felt since Didyme death came flooding to him. If he could have cried he though he might. Eboni looked at him her eyes now clear.
