Matteo's POV
Matteo: Get OUT!
Isabella: Matteo I am sorry I-
I chuckle running short in patience. I cock my gun and aim at her. She backs away her shoes on hand as she finds the door handle.
Matteo: Now Isabella. You know I don't like to repeat myself.
The fear on her face only makes me more annoyed but she gets the message.
She exits the room and I run a hand through my hair feeling the sweaty edges. One thing I don't tolerate is disobedience. And she dared to not only call me by my name but also not respond to the name I gave her. She thought I'd just be pleased by calling her that only once and she couldn't be more wrong!
Matteo: Unacceptable.
I throw my gun on the floor and stand up to get dressed.
Her image was stuck in my head like a curse. I knew I had to see her again. The possibilities of how she'd react to my every word or action! Fucking intriguing!
The only human being who actually looked at me straight in the eye and didn't flinch while telling me how they didn't want me around!
They say ignorance is bliss. And after how she acted I finally understand why. Only a fool would react that way if they knew who I was.
I walk downstairs to find my father at his usual seat reading the newspaper.
Vito: Just when I was about to come talk to you.
I shrug sitting down after grabbing an apple from the table. Always the same shit. He doesn't even look up from his newspaper to look at me.
Vito: That girl Isabella ran out of your room crying. You know we don't need to cause any drama.
Matteo: Are you seriously telling me this?! *laughs* This is ridiculous! What is it father? She ran to you, sucked you off and now you want to protect the stray?
*SLAM!*
I bite down the apple actually enjoying how it is to get to him. He slams his fist on the table and finally looks at me.
Vito: Watch your tongue boy. I am the one in charge still. And the last thing I want is a crying whore in my own house!
Matteo: Oh please! Father. I remember you didn't do anything about your whores when mother found out.
His face instantly turns red and he stands up glaring at me.
