My Guardian Angel

Chapter 3

"Hyunjin get your feet off my desk." Bang PD Nim told the devil who rolled his eyes.

"Now you two are going to be working together for a long time. Try not to rip each other's heads off please. You have 30 minutes before you set off for your mission. I would suggest getting to know each other." Bang PD Nim said as he walked out leaving the two alone.

"So you're the Angel looking after Taehyun? I've heard about him down where I'm from. He's an attractive boy I might say." Hyunjin said smirking as he knew he just irked the hell out of Beomgyu.

"You stay the hell away from him. He's mine." Beomgyu said as he growled slightly.

"Is he? Well he was, not anymore. I know everything about you two. He's in infant now. You can't claim his as ours anymore, well not until he survives under your hands. But I can't let you do that you know? You remember what happens right? This is his last time he gets to be reborn. You fail, your little boyfriend gets to spend eternity with me." Hyunjin chuckled sadistically, enjoying the anger on the others face.

"That is NOT going to happen. Not on my watch. I'm going to protect him no matter what." Beomgyu said with a death glare.

"And what makes you so sure?" Hyunjin asked mockingly

"Well for starters I'm the strongest I've ever been in 100 years. You should see my body right now. I can protect him from anything. And I got magic." Beomgyu said confidently.

Hyunjin stared at his body for a good minute. "Oh yeah? If you're so strong then show me your body, let's see how much 'muscle' you actually have." Hyunjin said with a raised eyebrow.

"That is not for you to see. I wouldn't show it to anyone but Taehyun, when we spend eternity with each other of course." Beomgyu said.

"And what if he falls in love with you when he is a human? Would you allow a human to be in love with an Angel? There's no rules if that happens you know that right?" Hyunjin asked.

"Well I haven't thought about that. But it's never happened before so I doubt it would happen." Beomgyu said to him.

Hyunjin only hummed in response. They started talking about other stuff getting to know each other personally and thinking that got along well. Until they got interrupted.

"Choi Beomgyu and Hwang Hyunjin?" The voice had asked as he poked his head inside the room?

"Yes?" They both replied at the same time.

"Hi my name is Ni-Ki. I'm here to take you two to the place you're supposed to go. Please follow me." Ni-Ki led them out of the office and to a secret place that only specific Angels can have access to.

He took out a silver key and unlocked the door. Revealing a portal that will take them to the human realm.

Angels like Ni-Ki are the ones who take the dead into this place. They are able to summon doors from anywhere and they will lead them and it will take them exactly to this door they are standing in front of right now. There's not that many of them. These Angels were the ones that were here the longest, having thousands of years training.

The good thing about this place is you get to keep your youth. Nobody would have guessed that a Angel who looked just 16, has been here for 7 thousand years. Ni-Ki is the youngest out of these Angels. There were only 5 of them.

Beomgyu and Hyunjin followed Ni-Ki to the human realm. Both confused on where they were going.

"Ni-Ki, where exactly are we going?" Beomgyu asked him.

"We are going to Seoul, South Korea. That is where Taehyun is from. Hyunjin if I'm not mistaken that is where you were from before you died correct?" Ni-Ki had told them as they kept walking.

"Ahh yes, good old Seoul. Miss the place really, glad to know I get to go back to my home city after having not seen it for 100 years." Hyunjin said.

Beomgyu took in those words. Hyunjin died 100 years ago? But he died 100 years ago as well. Did they perhaps die in the same year? Could their be a possibility they might know each other from their past life?

Thousands of questions were running through his head but stopped when they finally stood in front of a building. A hospital to be precise.

They summoned themselves in and got to a specific room. They then heard the faint cries of a baby.

"Oh! It looks like we got here just in time!" Ni-Ki said excitedly. They summoned themselves inside the room.

"Boys, meet Kang Taehyun. You both know what you tasks are right?" Ni-Ki said staring them both in the eye.

Both boys nodded, looking at each other. A tiny glare on Beomgyu's face and nothing but a grin on Hyunjin's face.

They each had a job to do. Beomgyu lead Taehyun into safety and protect and care for him throughout his life through anything. Hyunjin cause misery and heartbreak to the young boy, doing anything he can to make him unsafe and lead his death closer then it was supposed to be.

Their task begins now.
