No One's POV

Another cold and rainy day in the city of Fukuoka, Japan.

Even though there was no sun, people still found time to have fun with their friends and family.

Little kids jumping in the puddles, laughing while doing so.

Middle schoolers complaining, mumbling words about not getting wet, and the sudden downfall.

While the high schoolers, laugh as they hold an umbrella above their heads.

Business people head home after the sun has gone down, families head home after getting their kids away from the puddles, but even with some of the population at home, the streets of the city still hold a bustling life.

Some people just walk under the rain, to just enjoy or clear their minds, others have plans with friends.

All have a planned day..

All except for one.

A young college girl, with beautiful pale ivory skin, beautiful hazel color eyes, and long black hair with vivid red highlights, sat at the top of a roof of an abandoned house.

Just looking down at the busy streets of Fukuoka City.

She had a strawberry flavored Ramune in her hand, as her legs dangled from the edge of the roof.

Her attention focused on a couple walking down the sidewalk. They had no umbrella, but they both had hats to cover their heads.

The rain wasn't heavy, it was just a drizzle, but even so some people didn't like getting wet.

The girl with red highlights stares down at them, as she sees their hands holding one another.

She sighs, and looks into the horizon, taking a sip from her drink. She thinks about nothing, since nothing comes to mind.

This is Nakamoto Akane.

A young girl, who just started her second year of college, and has no friends at all.

It's not because she didn't want them, in fact she wished she did, it was just people not befriending her.

And whenever she tried to approach them, they would only walk away without saying anything.

It started in middle school, and it continued up from there.

Who knows for what reason, not even Akane knows.

But she knows that in this school, this year will be the same as her previous years.

Yup, she moved houses over the summer, but the school was the same, but even so today was her first day, yet no friendships came her way.

All she could do is sit in the shadows, and watch those around her once more.

Akane eventually got up, grabbed her stuff and left the roof of the old, abandoned house.

Once stepping out onto the sidewalk, she began making her way home. Akane lives with her older brother Yuta, who was a part-time worker at a cafe near his university.

Yes, both attend different universities. Yuta attends a university that holds a business major, while Akane attends one that holds a Healthcare major.

Unlike Akane, Yuta had lots of friends. Yuta, although works in a cafe, he gets paid really well, let's just say that his friend is the owner of the shop.
