Chapter 22-"..bad idea"

Time skip: 3 weeks

Josie pov:
It's been 3 weeks since I was attacked, I still have nightmares about it . It's been keeping me up most nights, I only sleep for about two hours before I wake up screaming .

The super squad has been looking for different spells and medications to keep me asleep but so far none of them have worked . My dad took me to Lizzie's old therapist last week and I'm currently on 5 different medications , my mom said she could just give me some plants and a few spells to help but dad said and I quote "no more magic, that's what keeps getting out daughters into this sort of mess" , of course mom fought him but eventually gave up knowing dad wouldn't change his mind .

So now I have weekly therapy sessions with doctor Wyatt. She's pretty chill I guess , she's scary looking tho. Also since I'm in therapy now , dad thinks I'm incapable of adopting Pedro but he said that I can still take care of him . Of course when Pedro found out he didn't want to be separated by me , but after I told him I will still take care of him he calmed down.

Also Hope has been doing much better , she only got knocked out when Avery put her to sleep since she hit her head when she fell down . I'm glad nothing bad happened to her , I'm glad she's better and safe now . She has also gotten better with her magic and controlling her wolf , I was thinking about my feelings for her and I realized I'm in love with her , but I was apparently too late since I was released from the medical bay I heard her and Landon have really hit it off. Of course I still love her but Landon is one of my best friends so I have to push those feelings down and feel glad for him and that's what I have been doing for a week now .

Jade has also come back from her trip , she got me some snacks and a sovereign, she also gave the rest of the super squad a few gifts that she got for them .

And yes I am currently writing in a journal, my therapist recommended it so I guess I have to do this daily now.

I closed my journal and put it back behind the painting, I got up from my bed and walked out , the super squad had scheduled today as the day we finish working on our new hang out spot .

After breakfast and fighting on who would carry nothing and who Gets to carry the cleaning supplies we got there all in one piece. Pedro and Noah of course wanted to help so we let them come with . we got there we headed down to clean the basement since it was the biggest place and the last of all . We found a few cool stuff there , a few pictures of the old family that was living there , some old toys , a few old things like tools and home decor. Jed found an old toy , it was like a ball attached by a thick plastic to a hole , we had no idea how to use it but Jed just started hitting Kaleb and jade with it . That eventually lead to a fight .

After getting back on track and clearing everything, we started sweeping and cleaning the basement, we had ordered a few things and chairs for the hang out spot .

Time skip: 4 hours

We finally finished with everything , I did a quick spell to teleport everything that we ordered to here , we all then started to decorate it and we started sorting out the chairs and the games , while Jed and me set up the pool table . Landon and Hope were being all lovely dovely in the loveseat in the room , I quickly looked away . "You love her" I heard Jed say , I quickly acted dumb "what , love who ?, who are you talking about?"  He rolled his eyes and waved his hand around , I understood what he was trying to say and I casted a privacy spell .

"I saw the way you look at her , and I know that look anywhere, jo you don't make me stupid "

I signed

"Even if I did , she's dating Landon so I just have to get over it , plus Landon is finally happy , actually they both look happy , and what best friend am I to take that away from him ?"
