Chapter 17 - " incendia"

No ones pov:
"mom i think I did something bad " Josie said before she passed out infront of her parents , her sister ,the rest of the Gemini coven and her friends.
They were too late ,
way to late to help her ,
too late to get rid of the black magic,
too late to stop her from completing the black magic spell .

* present *
Josie's POV:
Still in class , still bored . We're currently learning about new mythical monsters because ever since a fucking dragon attacked the school , my dad decided to add training after school clubs to those people who want to help fight the monsters and to help protect the school, Mrs.Harrison was currently talking about how to kill and protect yourself from a Griffin. Apparently it's a hybrid of a lion and an eagle, it was a powerful, majestic creature of ancient Egyptian and Persian methodology. Honestly it sounds very cool . I look around to see Lizzie sleeping her head on the desk . I roll my eyes and focus back on what the teacher is saying.

No ones pov:
Josie's parents always teached her and her twin that they should never do black magic , that it will poison their brain and then it will poison their heart. Of course as a kid both Lizzie and Josie were scared of it , so anytime they heard kids in school do black magic or ever hear black magic in general ,they would be scared . Now Josie was currently trying to find a way to stop everything that was happening to her ever since Avery came to the school , what was worse is that she could never stand up for herself , she always needed ether jade,Lizzie, or Penelope's help to defend herself. And she was tired of that .
Tired of being weak.
Tired of never being able to stand up for herself.
And tired that no one really cared about her .
Her parents focus were mostly on the new kids and arivals ,her blonde twin , or maintaining the school . The only one who cared the most couldn't help because she couldn't always take care of her .
So Josie decided to try and find a way to be powerful and speak for herself .

But little did she know in order to become powerful she had to do the thing she promised her parents she would never do.

*present*
Hopes POV:
We followed professor Parker (she finally decided it would be easier than everyone saying Parker-saltzman or calling her josette , she also said to call Alaric professor saltzman, I mean now it's easier) to her office .
"Okay if I remember right , your parents always told the both of you to never remove your bracelets , am i correct?"
Me and Noah both nodded.
"Hmm , Noah is it okay if I take off your bracelet ?" She asked Noah , he looked over to me .
"It's okay Noah" I told him
He turned to look at professor Parker, he then nodded his head.professor Parker then reached over and took his bracelet off . "Okay now extend your hand out to that wall over there " she pointed at a wall that was next to a window , she then walked over to her desk and grabbed a fire extinguisher.
"and repeat after me , Incendia "
"Incendia"
Nothing happened.
"Hmm Okay , Jonah do you feel like if something is flowing all over your body , like something electrical, like if it's traveling all over your body ?"
Noah nodded," Okay try to move all that electricity towards the palm of your hands , they to see it , visualize it. Now repeat after me again , Incendia "
"Incendia" , a flame then appeared at the wall Noah had his hand extended towards , i was shocked , " I did it " Noah said as he jumped up and down "you did " professor park said as she grabbed the fire extinguisher and extinguished the fire on the wall , she then mumbled something and the wall that once had a burn mark on it looked good as new .
"Okay hope your turn now " she said as she went and sat down Noah on a chair close to her desk ."now can I remove your bracelet?"
I nodded , she then extended her arms and removed the bracelet from my wrist, as soon as she removed the bracelet I felt like a electric current was traveling around my body , it felt weird , it didn't feel uncomfortable just weird .
"Okay just like Noah extend your arm towards the wall , now try to move the electric current towards your hands , visualize it moving from all over your body just to your hands , now repeat after me . Incendia "
"Incendia " , a flame then appeared on the wall . I did it . I actually did it . "Good job hope " she said as she extinguished the fire and mumbled the same thing to repair the wall.
" now i know that the both of you will like your bracelets back but these bracelets Block your power so let me call one of my daughters really quickly to come and siphon the spell out of then and y'all can have your bracelets back " she said as she went over to her desk and turned on her intercom "Josie Saltzman please come to professor Parker's office , Josie Saltzman please come to professor parkers office " she then put the intercom back on her desk , I walked over and sat on the chair next to the one Noah was sitting on . "Did you see that did you see that , I created a flame like Harry Potter but without a wand " she said he pointed at the wall we're the flames appeared, "yeah buddy I did , that was really cool of you " I said as I petted his hair , he let out a small giggle. There was a knock at the door ,"come in sweetie " professor Parker said , Josie then opend the door and walked in , closing the door behind her " hi mom " she said "hey sweetie, now I'm sorry to take you out of class but I beed a very quick favor "
"It's fine mom , sure what's the favor " Josie asked
"I need you to siphon the magic out of these bracelets , now don't worry hope and Jonah both agreed with this " professor Parker assured Josie . Josie then grabbed both of the bracelets , a orange glow then came from both of her hands , it lasted about 13 seconds before her hand stoped glowing ."here you go mom " she said as she handed both bracelets to professor Parker ,
"Thank you sweetie , you can go back to class now " Josie nodded and waved both me and Noah a wick bye before she left the room , professor Parker then handed me both of me and Noah's bracelets , "oh and hope , be careful.since the full moon is tonight your felling will be highten and your magic will be all over the place , now if you feel like it's getting out of hand , to a point where you can't even control it , come to me , Jonah the same applies to you " I thanked her and we walked back to our room .
