"I took care of it." he says with a smile so bright. Took care of... what? "Took care of what?" I was nervous. "Well, friend! He came in to talk about an employee that may attempt to work here but we shouldn't let her because this and that and blah blah blah! He said he wanted to speak to Vanessa! So I said that I was the best he could talk to! I told him he shouldn't be lying and that he should leave!" Wow... that was a lot. "How did you know he was lying?" I asked "I have a function that tells me so!" he smiled and picked me up, "Don't tell Vanessa! I handled it perfectly!" he smiled at me and I couldn't resist, "alright alright, thank you..." I still didn't know his name. "Sundrop! You can call me sun!" He said as he placed me down. "Alright, thank you Sun. I'm just gonna finish up, I'll be right down. Thank you again." He walked over to the door and waved to me before closing the door.

I felt my ribs, still sore from when sun picked me up. I can't blame him, he didn't know about the bruises and cuts. I switched to my work uniform and brushed my hair into a ponytail. Then I opened the door and head downstairs.

 When I walked into the daycare, sun was ducking behind a counter. "... Sun? Are you okay?" He looked at me and put his fingers to his lips. "Shhh~" I started to worry, why was he hushing me? "Sun what's going-" Then a child ran up and said "BOO!" Looking at sun. Then sun ran up and twirled the child around, "Oh, friend you found me! Good job!" He set the child down and looked at me. "Hey, I'm sorry I didn't mean to give away your position." I whispered to him. "Pshhhh it's okay! It's just a game after all! I don't mind. Do you wanna play? Oh pretty pretty pleeeaaase~" He begged, "ohhh fine fine, I'll play." I seemed like I was giving in but honestly this felt nice. I'm glad I was able to hang out with Sun, even if it was while playing a silly children's game. "YAY! Okay okay! You hide, I'm it this time!" I smiled and nodded, turning away to find a place to hide. 

I found a hiding spot behind the play place, I was almost certain I'd win. I heard Sun finding all the kids so quickly, "oh y/nnnn where are yooouu!" I heard him say. Theres no way he could find me. I covered my mouth with my hand so he didn't hear me giggle, but then. "GOTCHA!" 

Sun yelled, then picked me up. He twirled me around before setting me down. "Wha- HOW?!" I asked. "Between you and me, I can see everybody's hiding spot!" He giggled gleefully. "B-but THATS CHEATING!" I yelled, I was just angry that I got caught. "Awwww you're just mad that I found yooouu." Sun giggled, he picked me up and gave me a big hug.

 "Ow-" I whispered. He had squeezed a little to hard and I felt one of my cuts open up. "Oh no! Did I hurt you-" He looked down to see the blood on the side of my shirt. "OH NO WEE WOO WEE WOO, DID I DO THAT????" He grabbed my hand and rushed me upstairs to my dorm. "May I see please? I am so sorry, I didn't mean to hurt you that bad!" He tried to seem calm but I could tell that he was really bothered thinking he hurt me. "No no! It wasn't you Sunny, I promise!" Sunny? Did I just call him Sunny? "S-sunny." He turned his head away quickly but then turned back with a smile. "I'm glad I didn't hurt you, now I must heal you!" He went to lift my shirt, "no sunny-!" It was too late, he had already lifted my shirt. He scanned my torso looking at all the cuts, the bruises, the scars. "W-what happened!? Who did this?!" Sun asked looking all around, scanning each and every wound. "It's not that important..." 

Then we heard the clock chime, it was time for the kiddos to go home. Sunny looked at me with such concern. "I'll be back, stay here and don't move!" He ran off to give the kids to their parents. I look down looking at all the wounds he saw. "Shit..." I mumbled. He shouldn't have to hear about what happened to me, that's not his burden to carry. 

The last of the kids have left and I heard Sunny coming up the stairs. "So, y/n... What happened?" I hesitated, should I tell him? "Oh nothing, I'm just a clumsy person, haha." I tried to sound as convincing as possible. He stepped closer to me then knelt down. "You're lying, what happened." Shit... I forgot he can tell when others are lying. Theres no getting out of this. "Do you remember that guy who tried to stop you from hiring me?" He nodded his head, looking into my eyes. He was really listening to me. "We used to be together. He did all of this to me. He forced me to do things I didn't wanna do, he just wasn't a good person." I saw Sunny's face change to anger and disgust. "He did all of this to you?!" He asked, then I saw him try to calm down.

 "Lets patch you up first..." Sunny ran to grab some alcohol wipes, gauze, and medical tape. It was a new opened up cut. "This is gonna hurt a bit, you can hold my hand if you need to." He said in such a calming tone while holding his hand out. "I think I'll be okay." I smiled at him. He nodded and tore open the packaging for he wipe. He gave me one more reassuring look before wiping up the blood and disinfecting the cut. I winced in pain, "Oh! Did I hurt you too bad? I'm sorry I didn't me-" I stopped him, "hey hey hey! It's okay, I swear. You're doing this to help me." He nodded and continued to patch me up. "All done!" He was happier now that I was patched up.

"Where else did he hurt you?" Sunny asked. I decided to joke around, "well you don't wanna see that much of me haha" I laughed, but Sunny seemed to be very upset. "Hey I didn't mean to-" He stopped me, "no don't be sorry, I'm just sad you had to deal with him. Can you show me where else he hurt you?" I haven't seen this side of him. He was genuinely concerned about me. "Well, I was kind of joking when I said that. He really did hurt me in places that I don't think you'd wanna see." I said. He looked so upset for me. "As much as you feel comfortable showing me?" he said with a warm smile. I nodded and took my shirt off, I was wearing a tank top underneath. He inspected my arms and back. I then lifted up my pants to show him the rest that I could show him. He stared with wide eyes. "I can't believe he did all of this to you..." He grabbed my hands. 

"I will never let any of this happen to you again."
