"Goodnight Starlight..."

Hours have passed and I open my eyes, he's still holding me. I open my eyes just a bit more when I notice it.

The lights are off.

Then who was holding me? A chill goes down my spine when I register it. It was Moon. I try to pretend I'm asleep. "I know you're awake, Shooting Star." I take a big gulp. "I'm sorry, I was to nervous to talk about what happened. Sun said I should talk to you, but I didn't wanna wake you up." Maybe he wasn't so bad. First impression didn't really hit. "It's okay... I heard you were aggressive, I guess I was just scared." Moon shifts so that I'm looking at him while laying in his lap. "I was aggressive... that's how I am the first time with everyone, nobody sticks around long enough for the second time. I don't know where they go though." Something was off when he said that, was he lying? Where did those people go? He knows. 

"So you don't hate me?" I ask. Moon looks shocked when I say that. "No of course not, I don't usually like the workers here but you... you're different." I felt myself get flushed. I was different? How? "So, why did you come back?" Moon scratched the back of his neck, "Well originally because sun said I should, but really I think I just wanted to see you again. So how are you feeling? Did I hurt you too badly?" I shook my head. "No I'm fine, those gashes were already. Sometimes they open up and it gets pretty messy." He smiles, "well, I'm glad you're okay-" then somebody cuts him off. "Y/n! Y/n! Where are you!? The lights are off! I'm coming to get you, stay still!" It was Monty? Why was he here? Moon sighed, "well I should be going. I think Monty is worried I'll do something to you. Promise me we can see each other again?" I nod, "I promise." Suddenly Moon gets up and runs off. 

He seemed like he actually cared. Maybe I misjudged him. "Y/n!" I hear him shout again. "I'm here! Hold on!" I climb down from the tower and Monty runs up to me and grabs me. He pulls me into a separate room. "Are you okay? Did he hurt you?" He looked around my neck and arms then hugged me tight. "I'm okay I swear, we were just talking." Monty loosens the hug. "Talking? What do you mean?" I look up at Monty, "well he's actually not that bad, he actually apologized to me." Monty raises an eyebrow, "apologized? Thats not like him. Are you sure?" I nodded my head, Monty smiled. "I'm just glad you're okay, y/n." 

Then somebody opened the door, I saw the lights were back on. It was Sunny. He wrinkled his nose and pulled me into a hug. "Y/n are you okay? What were you guys doing in here?" He hugged me tighter. "We were just talking, he thought Moon was gonna hurt me." Sunny pulled out of the hug and crouched down so we were at eye level. "Moon was very sorry for what he did. I just don't know why you're in here with him." Monty raised an eyebrow and said, "I was just trying to protect her, she's special. I really like her." Sunny gets visibly upset.

"Well you don't have to, I can do that. I like her too! Just... don't do anything to her." Sunny then got up and left. "You like me?" Monty smiled at me, "of course I do. From when I met you I liked you. You're really special." Then I heard Sunny come back, "you know on second thought, I'm taking her with me." Sunny grabbed my hand and we started walking away. Monty just waved goodbye to me with a smile. 

"Y/n... I don't want you to be with him. It wouldn't be healthy, you can stick with me." We continue to walk to his tower. We get up inside his tower and he angrily starts coloring. "Whats wrong Sunny? Ive never seen you like this before-" "I'm fine!" Sunny yelled. I get embarrassed so I look down. "listen... y/n... I didn't mean to yell its just..." Sunny sighs, "I don't know... never mind." Sunny said then went back to drawing. I feel bad, was this jealousy? Was Sun... jealous? "Hey, you know I like you Sunny. I'm not going anywhere." Sunny looks up at me and I can tell he has a slight smile on his face. "Really? I don't want you to go anywhere." I nod, "I promise I'm not going anywhere. Not without you." Sunny blushes and pulls me in for a hug.

"I don't wanna lose you, starlight."
