Serena slammed the door of Ash's office and walked out.
I was thinking what was best for the company..right? I was trying my best.. but maybe I wasn't. Maybe that's the reason Ash was so mad. I can't do anything right, can I?
Serena sat down on her chair and stared at the ceiling which she had stared at a hundred million times, to be exact.
How do I make this right..It's all my fault that he is in a bad mood right now..
Her thoughts were interrupted as she heard the door close. She looked up to see Ash, grabbing his coat.
"I'm gonna go get some air Ser, call me if you need anything."
"Ya okay."
She immediately regretted her tone as she felt it sounded like she was annoyed. She had already done enough by ruining her and Ash's mood. And now he is going to think that she was irritated with him.
Great
She fell back into her chair and put her palms on her face, and thought about the time she had first met Ash...
One of the best day of her life.
But he always kept talking about this "Mizu" girl. She didnt know who it was but she had started to dislike her a little because it seemed to be all Ash could talk about.
"Maybe she was his best friend ?"
Her sudden voice bought her the attention of few people working their. They gave her a weird look and went back to their work. Serena immediately hid her face behind a magazine.
I shouldn't think about her. I dont even know her for goodness sake! Think about how you can make it up to Ash...Think about the goddamn company.
She opened her laptop and started browsing when the new edition of "Talent matters" popped up. It was a tabloid which published about talented young people and shows. She opened the tabloid and saw the picture of Cordelia on the front page. She scrolled down and thats when she remembered.
The mermaid parody act.
She was there when it was performed. It was her break and she had bought a ticket to watch the show. The lead actress was very talented and definitely someone Ash would love. She cursed herself for not remembering this earlier. She quickly opened her browser and searched up the Cordelia. Once she found their email, she quickly copied it and opened her email. A few clicks of the keyboard and done. The email was sent.
Now all she had to do was wait.
"Ash will be so thrilled!" She exclaimed with happiness.
"Wow, you sound happy?" A familiar voice interrupted.
Serena looked up to source of the voice and smiled. "Why, yes I am! I can't wait Mr. Ketchum to listen the news"
"It's always about him, isn't it" said a girl smirking. "Think about us too ya know."
"Yeah, I'll pass on that" Serena said giggling.
"Stop it"
"What?" she raised an eyebrow
"There are other people who cares about you, and all you do is Ash this and Ash that" the girl said with a sad tone.
"Well, that is our job, to do the best for him and the company!" She stood up, from her maroon chair. "Anyway I'll go get Maria something to eat, poor girl works herself so hard."
"Sure"
"I'll see you around then, Rae"
"I told you! No nicknames!"
"Sorry, can't hear you" said Serena while giggling. She walked out of the cabin and closed the glass door behind her.
Raelle stood there watching her best friend. .
