As Ash heard his office door close, he let out a breath he didn't realise he had been holding. He didn't expect Serena to bring in a offer from a illegal company.
What the hell..
He leaned back on his leather black chair and closed his eyes. The unwanted memories of his childhood flooded back.
"Let's go into the woods Ash!"
"We should wait for Mizu though"
"But she won't come"
"Why?"
"She's leaving pallet.. didn't she tell you?"
BAM!
Ash slowly looked down, he's pen stand has fallen causing the painful memories to end.
Thanks, goddamn pen stand.
He got up, did a stretch and walked out, grabbing his coat on the way.
"I'm gonna go get some air Ser, call me if you need anything."
"Ya okay."
She is still upset. Thought Ash. But he needed space right now. He put on his coat and walked out of the building.
He was immersed in his thoughts while walking, not long after trolling to some distance he realized that somehow he had walked up to the beach near he's office building, no intention for swimming he turned around but spotted a coffee house at some distance. It had a peaceful and comfy look to it, Just then he heard his phone ring. Ash decided to ignore it and put it back into his coat.
He wasn't planning on dealing with that right now.
Ash made his way into the coffee house and took an empty seat near the door when a waitress came up to him.
"What can I get you, sir?" The waitress asked.
"Cold coffee with whipped cream, a chocolate bar on side and small ice"
The waitress was blank for a second but soon returning into her senses she smiled and told him that his orders will be done soon. Ash took a seat and eagerly waited for his order.
He slowly drifted into his own world. Ash was a type of person who had learnt to enjoy his own company. Though he liked to think a little to extra, technically he was an overthinker. While gazing at the beach through the glass panel, he could only think of one person. Mizu..she had the eyes of ocean shades.. flaming red-orange hair..sweet girly voice but enjoyed to do the things her parents was strict about.
Oh how he wished they were still in contact with each other.
Before he could sink more into the ocean of memories. He spotted the delicacy sitting on the tray, from the corner of his eyes. With a childish joy he turned to look at it, like a small puppy would, (poor Serena had to deal with this everyday). He hurried to the counter and got the tray.
And realised that he got a message from Serena. Tray still in his left hand, he checked the message.

Give me a break dumb bitc—OH MY GOD! I'm so sorry miss!
He apologized as the lady infront of him was soaked in cold coffee. In all the commotion he dropped the glass too.

"I'm so sorry everyone.."
"Your a clumsy type, i see"
"I'm madly clumsy.." Ash responded as his eyes was fixed down at the janitor picking up glass.
"It's okay, I guess? The beach is near by too" The woman said while giggling
Ash just looked down in embarrassment. The lady went into the washroom. Ash as a gentleman waited for her so that he can apologize again, if only he wasn't so clumsy and such a mess. This was all Serena's fault! Why did she had to check on him, huh? That poor lady was soaked, i hope the glass didn't hurt her. Though she was weirdly calm about it to, and maybe she was there for office stuff? Like she was wearing a white top with black jeans ..it suited her style so much. But what if she is actually mad but not trying to show, but damn her hair was kinda wet too, but man! I never get to taste the cold—
"Oh you're still here" she giggled
"Let me change your—I!..I mean b-buy you some clothes!"
Silence
"Uh..what?"

He cleared his throat " i meant, let me buy you a new set of clothes. It's the least I can do"
"Oh..um no need too"
"No please, or else I'll feel guilty for the rest of my life"

"Okay?" She smiled
"Good! Where you wanna go?" Ash cheered like a child
She giggled.
