Ryder got shot in the chest.

 Skye froze. "Well, isn't this Skye, the 'ScaredPuppy'. hahaha"

"AH!"

*pistol shot* * Riffle shot*

She turned around, she saw the Captain shot dead on the floor. The person that saved her was...

Now:

----------------------Chapter Starts---------------------

She turned around, she saw the Captain shot dead on the floor. She saw Chase running towards her. "Skye, you're ok! You're Ok!"

Chase hugged her, she was shocked but hugged back.

"I need a medic here" he shouted.

Skye then passes out. "SKYE!!!" "I NEED A DAMN MEDIC, NOW!!!!!"

"Guys?" said Marshall. "GET UP!" shouted Rocky. "Why?" "Firstly, we are in a war. Secondly, where the hell is Skye" Shouted Rocky. "I NEED A DAMN MEDIC, NOW!!!!!" they heard a distance away. "Maybe it's them" they said. " Come on, we have got to save Skye" said Rubble. They others saw how desperate Rocky and Rubble were to save Skye. They ran as fast as they could, they told the just woken up Ryder and Sweetie and they went to the sound.

"Skye, hang in there," said Chase. She wasn't severely hurt but was losing blood, fast! Chase knew that if he didn't act quick Skye would die, he needed to get medical attention fast. He needed to know where he could. He panicked and found a solution.

During light training, they all were told to shoot a flare if ever needed. He shot the flare.

The other pups and Ryder saw the flare. "That must be them, Ryder," said Zuma, limping. Marshall shot a flare up.

They waited for the reply of the team and it was almost instant. "Good thing they still remember." said Chase."But before the team could come, Skye would be dead. He had to do something to save her. He used bandages to stop the bleeding. It was the only thing a soldier could do, he wasn't a medic. He then grabbed a pain-killer from one of the dead soldiers and injected it into Skye. He started to carry Skye into the team's flare direction. "Guys, over here!" shouted Chase.

The team heard the call. They ran to Chase. Chase laid Skye down and Marshall attended medical treatment to Skye. Rocky made it kinda obvious...... "Skye, you gotta live. I lov... Uh." the others stared at him. "You lov who," said Rubble narrowing his eyes, eyeing Rocky. "My, no one... Haha... Gotta go" said Rocky with a nervous smile.

Marshall walked out of the tent. "Is she ok? Is Skye ok?" asked Chase repeatedly. "She is fine. You can go and see her." replied Marshall.

"Skye, I was so worrie-" He stopped, realizing what he just said. "Uh-uh eh... I meant I'm just glade-you are-safe." he said, stuttering. "Thanks, Chase, that's very sweet- uh nothing"  "Thanks for saving me, Chase." that word from her mouth made Chase smile.

Chase's thoughts

Should I confess to her, Now? Sure why not.

"Skye?"  "Yes?" She answered. There is something I want to tell you."

Skye's thoughts

What is so important, oh maybe he is gonna say he is a biscuit. Or he is Godzilla, or a pokemon or a piece of bread. Is he ... Gonna confess.

"I like-" Chase really wanted to continue, but some mysterious creature called Colin in his mind said: "Don't say it, for your good and my good. She might no longer be your friend. Plus, I can write more Chapters on this book!"  "Skye. I like the movie Godzilla."  "Oh okay..." she said with a slight disappointment on her face. "If only you could find out I love you." Chase thought in his head and lead out a sigh.

*Boom* *artillery explodes* "Chase, we need support. We are being boomed" Shouted Marshall through the walkie-talkie. "And save Skye" said Rocky.

"Skye, me not saving her. NO WAY." Chase said in his mind
