And in the void that was once a universe, now a destroyed one...

*gleaming light in the black distance*

A new one had been born.

As the universe was being reborn, our planet "Seyru" soon came into the picture. Fast forward in time to "Voza", a country where two descending clans feud with eachother. The "Hikari" who claimed to be descendants of Light, and the "Yami" who claimed to be from The Unknown's lineage. Both clans have generational conflict as to whose ancestry should possess rulership over Voza. Each had their information passed down to them through ancient texts and stories which can date as far back to the beginning when Seyru was created.
The feuds got so intense among the clans to the point where a border was made, and neither members were to come in contact with one another. No member of opposing clans was to do anything with one another, and if they did come in contact however, it was usually on the border where both of the clans had owned markets, shops, and businesses to keep their families and people economically stable.
The encounters they had usually ended up with people being hurt on both ends. From children to the elderly, if you were a member of an opposing clan, harm would most likely be directed your way. The border was set up in a circular fashion, in the middle of the city, and divided into two halves.
The two halves then were then split into two as well. One section was for goods and the other section was for livelihood. Both Hikari and Yami had their respective grounds, yet had members from both sides interceding on grounds. All that soon changed one faithful day 57 years ago...

"Alright honey, be back soon" said a strong young man as he opened the door with an empty bag in his grasp. "Be safe now dear," said the man's smiling wife as she was deciding between two pieces of clothing. A young girl sprints out the house and hugs the man. "Papa, are you coming back in time for the festival?" said his daughter. "I'll try to be back as quick as possible," he said as he hugged her with one arm. "Can you buy me some snacks while you're at the market," his daughter asked with a cheerful smile on her face. "Pleaseee" she begged. "I'm sorry, I only have enough money to buy food for the feast we're having after," he said in a regretful voice. "Oh... okay," she said as she lowered her head down in sadness. "Here you go," the mother's hand appears from behind the girl's head, dropping coins into her husband's hand. "Buy her some snacks - after all it is a time of celebration and joyfulness," she said in an optimistic voice. "You were always the smart one," he said as he kissed his wife goodbye. "See ya!" he says while waving them farewell. "Bye, I love you," his daughter said as he turned away, only for him to turn back and see the smile on her face. "Love you too," he said in a mellow tone. As he soon made his way through the forest and towards the town's market, he noticed the townsfolk getting ready for the festival. People buying food, children running around having fun, shop owners hanging up decorations, and so much more.

The man soon made his way to the grocer, bought some food for the feast, and was on his way to the candy store to pick up some sweets for his daughter with the money his wife gave him earlier. Once he made his way there, he started looking at options that he thought would be to his daughter's appeal. "Hmm... what would Ayaka want," he said to himself. "Maybe she'd like some of these," as he reached in for the colorful dessert - another hand touched his. He looked up and moved his hand away to see the face of a teenage boy. "What do you think you're doing, old man?" the delinquent said to him rudely. "Old man? There aren't any over here," he looks around before pushing him off. "Let me just take my stuff and I'll be on my w-". The man's arm was then stopped by the arrogant juvenile again, "I don't think your ears are working correctly old man, piss off before you get into something you don't want". "You don't want this work little boy," he stares at him coldly. "Damn runt, he was here first!" The store clerk agitatedly said. "You're ruining my business," he sighed while rubbing his forehead. "Why don't you choose something else instead," he uttered to the juvie. "NO!" the punk barked. "I'm in the mood for that right there, and I get whatever the hell I want". "Well unfortunately for you, that's not the case today," The owner said as he handed the last bit of the sweet to the man. In disbelief, the teen walked away only to turn around point and shout. "Like I said old man, you had your chance to get lost... now you're gonna have to pay". "Yeah yeah whatever," the man replied as he walked off in frustration. The sun soon began to set and night-fall soon began.

The festival was about to start.

The man went back home to change and once he opened the door, he saw his family all dressed up. "Papa, Papa!" his daughter ran to him and said, "Don't I look great?" she said as she showed her father her outfit. "You sure do," he said as he hugged her. "You should get ready, the festival is about to start soon," his wife said. "You're right, let me take a shower real quick and get ready," he replied while setting the food on the table. Shortly after he gets ready, the man walks back to his family all dressed up. "Ok let's head out now". As they made their way out of the house and onto the festival, the man brings up memories of previous festivals. "I remember we went to a festival when you were a baby," he says to his daughter. "You always cried whenever the instruments started playing and we had to leave early," he said, chuckling. "Well now I'm much bigger and you guys don't have to do that anymore,". "We might still," he whispered to his wife. "I heard that!". "Ah man, of course I need the bathroom as soon as I actually leave the house," he grunted while he held his abdomen. "Try to see if you can find one at the festival," his wife replied. "Papa, why do we celebrate the festival?". "Well, you see we do it in honor of Master light and the Four leaders who helped save our universe many millennia ago according to legend." "Oh, so it's all because of them that we're on our way to the festival right now?" his daughter asks. "Yeah pretty much so," he says.

"We're here," his wife conveyed. The man and his daughter look up to see many gleaming lights as their mouths widened in joy. They walk around the festival in awe and excitement. "Papa look! at the face masks! A kitty, snakey, birdie, and bear!". "Ooh and look over there you can win a fishy too!" "Wow, that's awesome!" he replies with excitement. The three soon go on to explore the rest of the festival. "I heard the dancers are about to come on out in a few," his wife says. "We should go check it out". "You guys go on ahead, I'll try to go find a restroom real quick," he said as his stomach started growling. "Be back soon papa, I love you!" his daughter lovingly said to him considering the state he was in. "We love you dear," his wife said to him while smiling and hugging her daughter. "I love you both," he said as he teared a bit while holding his growling stomach. "Are you crying?" Ayaka asks him. "It's just my stomach sweetie," he says while wiping his tear. "Haha! then we'll see you soon!" Hanako chuckles. The man then turns around from his family and goes on to find a bathroom. "OOF-" he bumps into a cloaked figure. "Pardon me," the man murmured. "Strange guy...". *Rumble*. "AH!" he cried while running.

Once he found the bathroom, he finishes up and exits in a relieved state. "Phew! Alright now to find Hanako and Ayaka." *BOOM*... an explosion came from the festival's distance. "Oh no... HANAKO! AYAKA!"
to be continued.
