Chapter 3: Lost herd

Takeshi then begins to start gripping the grass and tearing up."no... I don't believe you... you're lying... YOU'RE LYING!". he then closes his eyes and screams at the night sky.

"Commander we found this shoe and this piece of torn cloth near a waterfall, the shoe is kind of small... looks like it belonged to the brat, and the piece of cloth is a bit large, it could belong to the man he was running with", one of the Yami soldiers shouts out from the distance while holding up both of their stuff in the air. Takeshi shut his eyes in animosity while gripping his kusarigama's handle he angrily uttered, "After I take all three of your heads...I'm going to take my own life, as I've failed to keep my promise to my dear brother in arms". "hopefully he and the young one will be able to forgive me in another life". "HA! like I'd ever give you the chance to kill me you sack of shit!" Kono spoke with arrogance. The Commander then got up off the forest's floor holding his trickling eye breathing heavily; and with his recovering breath, let out such treacherous words. "Once you die...I'm going to take YOUR lifeless head from your bleeding corpse and I'm going to bring it back to Akuma, once I do that I'll definitely take that wretch Daisuke's place of Shogun and become a ruler of the Yami Empire!". Kono shouted. "It's boring being in the position i'm in currently, I won't be able to get more powerful and rule if i'm in this state, yet then again... I might even get a higher chance at killing that ineffective tyrannical bastard of a leader Akuma once I become the shogun and kill him I can soon claim my role as emperor", he also said. "That idiot these so called "warriors" praise high and mighty, never gave me a promotion even after all I've done for him, his time is nearing though with his age and sickness he's been cursed with... it'll be easier to take the throne from him". Kono says with ingenuity.

The two soldiers looked at each other in sync with unease and turned back to the wounded Kono holding his eye. Kono turns to them in disgust, "Oh did you two idiots hear all that?" he spoke questioningly. "N-n-no sir we didn't hear a thing" one of the soldiers says with agitation. "y-y-yeah we didn't hear a thing at all" the other says while nervously sweating. Kono then lowers his head while walking to them slowly and says "I'm afraid I'll have to kill you both then, I can't let that little secret get out" he divulged as he grinned with an insane look on his face. He quickly teleports behind one of the two men on their horses and silently whispers in his ear "I'll make this as quick and painful as possible for you, moron". with no time to react the man almost screams yet Kono crosses his bladed sickles around his neck, beheading him swiftly. The head then fell to the ground and rolled to other soldier's horse's foot and the horse as well as the Yami militant riding it, both fled for their lives in fear and contempt. "I've got to get out of here!" he pants as his heart beats with adrenaline. yet...in spite, Kono sliced through the horses's achilles' tendons causing it to fall and start neighing in pain only to end up getting it throat slit. The fallen soldier began to tumble around the forest ground. The soldier subsequently got up to fight and looked at his surroundings in a blurry panic, yet couldn't see anything due to the dirt in his eyes. "moron" are the last words he hears whistling to him as he then gets stabbed in the chest with the curved sickle, getting his body gets partly ripped in half as the blade dragged upwards killing him instantly.

"Get both of these imbeciles' blood off of my weapons, I can't stand to even look at their remains", he says in disgust. "But then again they do look better this way, compared to when they were alive... I've showed them a true blessing by letting their souls escape freely" he chuckled. "I still wonder why i'm not the emperor, my values and acts of kindness are too generous". Kono gloats. Takeshi looked at him in true repugnance and revolt. The conceited commander then turns his head to Takeshi with a shocked yet smiling look, "Oh i'm sorry, is this bringing you back to the good times of when you're damned family died?" "that look on your face says it all" Kono grinned. "like I said before, everyone around you dies" and you want to know something before I execute you?". "I was the one, who killed them..." he cackled. "what are you saying" Takeshi questioned. "IT WAS ME YOU ROTTEN EXCUSE OF A FAMILY-MAN! I DID IT" he cried out. Takeshi clenched down his teeth and couldn't believe what he was hearing, "I'm giving you until the count of five to kill yourself before I vigorously do it myself you shit bag..." he uttered as he gripped his weapon while holding back tears. "DURING THE RIOTS, I KILLED THEM!" Kono screamed. "five-" Takeshi started to count. "I SAW THEM TRYING TO ESCAPE FOR COVER AND I DID IT WITH NO REMORSE!". "four-". "OH HOW GOOD IT FELT TO CUT DEEP INTO THEIR FLESH AND WATCH THEIR BLOOD DRAIN FROM THEIR BODIES" he screeched out. "three-" Takeshi counted with a lump in his throat, remembering his late family. "I KNEW THE TYPE OF PERSON YOUR WIFE WAS BACK IN SCHOOL, I NEVER IMAGINED SHE'D LEAVE ME FOR SOMEONE WITH YOUR LIKES!" he screeched with voice cracks. "two-" Takeshi says as he starts slowly walking with his head down while swinging his kusarigama. "SHE WAS NEVER SUPPOSED TO BE YOURS!" Kono bawled. "one-" "DAMN YOU TAKESHI! I'LL KILL YOU, AND YOU'LL SOON BE ABLE TO SEE THOSE TWO WORMS IN THE BLAZING PITS OF HELL!!!" he wailed at the top of his lungs while smiling. Takeshi raises his head up and beginning to charge up his aura while uttering the words...
