-Yara-

Darkness.

All I could see was darkness, nothingness. I tried to speak, but no words came out. My hands instinctively gripped my throat. I screamed and screamed hoping for some sound to come out, but no. The darkness stayed silent. I dropped my hands and fell to my knees. What were they even touching? Were they touching anything? The sensation of knowing your body is there, but having no way to associate with it is so odd.

Is this how blind and deaf people feel? Separate from themselves and the world, yet, in tune with it all? It's so strange. I don't know how they all do it, it's incredible. I feel like I'm drowning just from being closed off for a few seconds. It was like I was in the woods again, under that pine tree with Dipper. My breath hitched, and my chest filled with pain. I felt hot streaks pour down my face. My hand reached up and touched my cheek. It was coated in my tears.

I tried to take another breath in, but I couldn't. Dipper stopped this before, but how can I stop it without him? This never happened before I moved here. I don't even know what's wrong. I can't even remember where I am, or why I'm here. My head hurts so bad, and my face is so hot and wet. I just want it to stop. It all needs to stop. Finally, I took a breath. It was only one, but it felt like heaven. "Hello?" I heard. My eyes widened, it was Mabel. "Anyone there?" She called out again. I scrambled to my feet, and scream again. Still, no sound came out. "Please, anyone!" She called out.

Then, there was light. In the distance I saw a bright white spot appear. In the pool of light stood Mabel, and she was just as distraught as me. I felt terrible when I saw her. She had red, teary eyes, and her hair was disheveled. "Yara!" She cried, running to me. She wrapped her arms around me, and mumbled, "Where-Where are we? I don't- What's happening?" I held her tightly, and tried to squeak out a word or two, "Mabel- I don't remember."

"Well, I certainly remember," a familiar southern voice said. I let go of Mabel and turned around to see Gideon. "Gideon, where are we? How did this happen? Why are you- did you do this?" I gasp, my hands starting to shake. He stays silent for a moment as we make strong eye contact. The name is Bill Cipher. "Agh!" I scream, clasping my hands around my head. He'll die. "Stop that!" I yell. "What are you doing?" Mabel cries out to Gideon, "You're hurting her!"

"She wanted to remember, I'm letting her. Would you like to remember, too?" Gideon said, extending his hand to her. Mabel took a step back, looking to me and then back to him.  "Get away from us." "My dear, it's all going to be okay. It's just unfortunate that it hurts," Gideon pouted. He put his arms behind his back and cutely rolled on his heels. "Come on, sugar. You know I won't harm you," he smiles. I let go of my head, and take a few deep breath as he speaks. "You-" I breath, "you better get us out of this place."

"Sugar, I can't-" Gideon spike, walking towards me. "Shit!" I cut him off, crossing my arms. Dipper. That's why I left, because of him. I'll be crushed if Gideon hurt him. "How dare you cut me off, darling! After I was so nice to you, lettin' you two see each other," Gideon growled, raising his hand. It began to glow blue, and he raised his hand, as if he was going to strike me. "Yara!" Mabel yells, jumping in front of me. Gideon hit her on accident, his eyes widened. "'Mabel!" We cried out. She covered in the blue light, and she fell to the ground.

"Yara..." she whispered before fading away. "Mabel! No!" Gideon yelled. A tear slipped from my eye and I turned to him, "what the hell did you do? What is going on? Did you kill her?" I grabbed his collar and lifted him onto his tiptoes. "I swear Gideon, I'll-" "I didn't kill her," he said sadly, "I sent her back to the beach. To right when she left. I was trying to do it to you!" I scoffed, lifting him a bit more, "Send me back too or so help me I'll-" "You're not leaving. His hand flowed blue again and he grabbed my wrist. Pain shot through my arm. "God!" I screamed, letting him go.
