8- The Key of Magic, The Key of Life

Dipper's POV:
"Or, die," I say, that's just great. I take book number three out of my jacket and look through it. Trying to find something that could help us. "We could call Bill," Yn suggests, Mabel shrugs. "How do you have a key?" Yn say.

"We'll he has the key of magic because he was the only one who believed in this crap enough, to break into Gideon's mind and save you," little Bil- Clark said. "Break into his mind? How did be do that? When did he do that?" Mabel asked Clark.

"We'll, the room you were held in, was in Gideon's mind. I was a dream demon, duh. Dipper unlocked Gideon mind because of his belief in this stuff, and unlocked a key. Now you two," he pointed at Mabel and Yn "have to prove you are meant to be guardians of life and death."

Mabel is obviously life, so ... doesn't that make Yn ... death? "So if I save someone, I get a key?" Mabel asked. "sure." Clark said.

"Does that mean I have to kill someone?" Yn asked looking horrified. "Maybe, Maybe not, you just have to prove you are a guardian of death, not a murderer." he said to her.
She looked at me, turn and then ran.

Yn's POV:
Kill someone? No. But how do I prove myself then? I had just ran out of the cave, back to the Mystery Shack. Could I hurt Dipper?

I ran up to the bedroom, I sat in the corner and started to cry. "Yn," Dipper said, Bill must have teleported him here, "it's going to be okay," he went to hug me but I pushed him away and said "I could hurt you, but I won't hurt you," I tried to walk away but before I could he kissed me and whispered to me "You love me to much to hurt me."
"Yeah, I guess," I say smiling.

I still can hurt him, but he could hurt me too, but he won't. I know he won't.
He kisses me, and puts his hands on my waist. "And you'll never hurt me," I say to him.

I grab his hand and run down to the living room. I kiss him, then pull him all the way outside. Were I saw Mabel and she looked horrified. I felt a pain in my back. Then it all went black.

Mabel's POV:
A man ran up behind Yn and stabbed an axe into her back. Then ran at Dipper but I pushed him out of the way.

Dipper's POV:
Mabel pushes me out of the way, then instead of me getting hit Mabel got stabbed by the axe. The man ran after that. I checked there pulses, Mabel was gone. Yn was almost gone. I cried leaning over them. But then something amazing happened, Mabel floated into the air, then dropped back to the ground. She had been bleeding before, but now she was clean and not bleeding. "Dipper, look," she said showing me her hand. There was a key in her hand, the key of life.

Yn.

"Oh god," I say as I sit next her. Mabel call go inside and call 911 an ambulance." "Okay, I will,"

...

The ambulance came, we say with Yn. They told us that she might not survive. Probaly won't survive.

Yn's POV:
I woke up. Stand 10 feet away from Dipper. Her was crying over my ... body. 'Walking, over, there," I heard Clark say. I turned around look at him, and say 'what's going on? Am I dead?'
'Huh? Dead? No, your not dead, just in the dream world.'

'Dream world?'

'Its a world that's connected to your world, through your mind. You can see the world, but from another view, like me or like a human, you see what I want you to see.'

'Then how am I seeing it like you?' I ask him. His eyes widen, he looks me up and down. He made a face, like he remembered something. 'I'm not sure, you might just be special.' he sounded nervous and like he was hinding something. 'Tell me the truth Clark,'
'Um...' he poofed away.

Then I turned around, Mabel is standing. Unharmed. She runs into the house. I walk over to dipper, still Crying a little, holding my body close to him. I wish I could talk to him. I put my hand on his shoulder, then I blink, but when I open my eyes Dipper is hugging me.

"Dip, it's ... okay, I'm okay, I seem not fine but I ... am, I stuck ... in the ... dre-" I blinked again and I was stand back up over Dipper. I couldn't tell what he was saying.

...

It had been a few minutes since we got in the ambulance. After a moment I see that Mabel hiding something... a key? The key? I walk over to her and touch it.

Poof.

I was now in the cave, I ran to the book, and opened it. No way! There was words in it, real words. It said,

The legend of the lost child:
Only a few years ago, a lovely child was born. She was loved, and cared about, by both parents. Her mother was mortal, but her father was an dream angel.

But there was a catch, dream angels couldn't be with humans. So on the day after her birth, he 'died'.
He didn't really die. he was just forbidden to be a human of his age until he served 1,000,000 people.
He had become a dream demon, and would pass the powers of both dream angel and demon, to his left behind daughter. And his human name of Clark, and he changed it to Bill.
Legend has it, her name was Yn.

I was stunned. It says Yn, right? Right. I'm Clark's daughter? I am. That means that I'm a ... dream angel and a dream demon.
