SG: "Eat kid. I know you didn't eat the shitty food they had on board." She got me. But I'm not in the mood to eat.

"Tell me about Mina."

SG: "Well... She went here probably four years ago if I'm not mistaken." Four years ago when she left us. When she left me.

SG: "She was the first patient that was assigned to me when I got accepted here."

"What's her disease unnie?"

<PS. I DIDN'T DO ANY RESEARCH ABOUT THE DISEASE THAT WILL BE DISCUSSED BELOW. SO, I'M NOT REALLY SURE IF IT EXISTS. I JUST DESCRIBED IT AS HOW I NEED FOR THIS STORY.>

SG: "It's something she inherited from her mom. It's a rare disease and I'm one of those who's knowledgeable enough to handle her case. It's a kind of illness where your body involuntarily produces toxins which poisons the blood. Hence, you need a weekly blood transfusion or if necessary. In her case, she's having transfusion almost every other day. Hers is I guess worse than her mom used to have." That's why she's always wearing clothes with long sleeves to cover her bruises. Bruises around her arms which she told me she got as she usually bump into something due to her clumsiness. And I'm so stupid for believing that.

SG: "When it strikes, it really makes Mina go crazy because of so much pain. Her whole body is affected. It's like she couldn't even pinpoint where it hurts because it hurts everywhere. Only the strongest drug could make the pain go away but it's not something a patient like her should always consume. Hence, she endured all the pain most of the time." I was like a literal dead person while listening to Seulgi. I can hear her, but my self is not yet ready to react.

SG: "One time I asked her if there's something in life that she badly want to achieve that she's so persistent to fight. I mean... She's technically a dead person. Without blood transfusion, she won't live. Without any medications, she won't last a day." She sighed. Smiling and probably reminiscing the conversation she had with Mina.

SG: "She told me that she already gave up before. She's in her junior year when she was diagnosed with that disease. She agreed trying different methods to extend her life for her dad, sister, and her friends. But one year and a half and nothing happened. There she talked to her dad and sister that she's had enough. She'll just finish school and will just accept her fate. She knows that her dad and sister won't accept her decision, but she really had enough. Not just because she's tired and in so much pain. But because she's more suffering seeing her dad and sister worry for her. She told me hearing her sister cry every night because she can't do anything for her. Her sister even took medicine for her even she aspired to be a singer. Her dad didn't look for a wife because looking after her is more than a single person could handle. She's even afraid to enter another relationship that time as she knows she'll just burden whoever that someone is. Her disease has no absolute cure that time, so she really thought of giving up. Not until this someone came." I'm trying my best to hold my tears. I want to hear everything.

SG: "She told me about the deal she had with that person. I actually laughed as it's childish, but she told me that it's the only way she could help. She doesn't want to be a creep if she just offers huge help to someone she just barely knows. But she saw something on her that she feels like she wants to take care of that girl... The most common word she used to describe her aside from 'Cute' is 'Amazing'. That girl taught her about the importance of life. About living your life to the fullest as we only live once. There... She made her decision and told her family that she wants to get well. Even she knows it's close to impossible. She told me that girl made her believe that nothing's impossible as long as we're alive." There I couldn't take it anymore. I cried.
