Mina needs to go back to US to attend an event. She told me she'll be a guest speaker there.

I didn't stop her as I know how important it is for her to inspire others who are going through the same things she have been through.

MN: "You sure you're going with me? I told you I'll come back and will live here."

"I believe you. But I just missed you so much, so I want to spend more time with you."

DH: "Whipped spotted."

"As if you're not whipped with Sana unnie."

DH: "It's the other way around FYI."

SN: "Feel free to sleep at the couch."

DH: "Hey... I'm just kidding babe."

SN: "Kidding your ass."

Mina and I just laughed while watching the two bickers.

The squad sent me, Mina, and Jihyo off. Nayeon and Jeongeyon will go back to UK after a week. Meanwhile, Momo and Tzuyu will go back the next day to Japan and Taiwan respectively.

After long hours of travel, we reached New York.

We fist went to Mina and Jihyo's house to put our things.

MN: "Dad will go home for dinner. I'll introduce you to him."

"Ohmo! I should buy him a gift."

MN: "No need Love."

"But..."

JH: "He's already thankful to you Chaeng. He knows that you're one of the reasons why Mina is the person she is now."

I'm kind of relieved and grateful that they thought of me like that.

"Your dad is so nice."

MN: "I told you no need be afraid."

"I'm so happy now."

MN: "Me too."

We're now cuddling each other.

MN: "Let me tour you here after the event tomorrow."

"Anything you want my love."

There's a lot of people gathered for the event. Mostly patients with their family and friends.

MN: "See you later love." She told me as she's about to give her speech.

Before she could go, I held hand.

"I'm so proud of you, my Love." And I got her gummy smile as reward.

The director just finished his speech. It's now Mina's turn.

She stood at the rostrum and looked at the audience. She then turned her gaze to me and smiled.

MN: "First... I want to thank you for having me here. I'm not really good at expressing myself through words but I really want to share my journey with all of you." She paused. I gave her a 'You can do it' look.

MN: "I was first diagnosed with this disease six years ago. I was devasted that time because I have dreams. And I have people around me whom I know hearts will get broken if I leave them. So... Even though mom died because of the same disease, I still tried my luck. Took me a year and a half to realize that there's nothing that I can do. I told my dad and my sister that I've had enough. I'm in pain. But it pains me even more seeing how I affect their lives. They didn't agree but I'm decided. I was ready to go that time. Until this person came to my life." She looked at me and smiled.
