Chapter 18 - Gone Wrong

We pulled up to the gates and I slowly took my seatbelt off.

Am I making the right decision..

I looked at Henry before turning around and looking at the sleeping serenity.

" we'll be fine " he said and I felt tears in my eyes.

" wait a second " I said getting out and opened the back door.

I looked at her and that was enough for me to want to break down.

I kissed her forehead and the tears started falling.

" get away from here right after you leave here, my card is in the glove department " I said hearing my voice break.

" Janessa " he said and I shook my head.

She started moving and her eyes started to open.

" I don't want to leave her " I said grabbing her hand.

" mommy " she said and I quickly wiped my tears before giving her a smile.

" my beautiful girl, I love you so much " I said kissing her all over her face and she laughed.

" you're going to go with daddy for a little while, i'll see you soon " I said and she reached her hands out.

I hugged her tightly and pulled away after a few seconds.

" mommy " she said and started crying.

" Janessa I'm sorry but you have to go so it won't be too late " Henry said from behind me and hugged me.

" I know " I said continuously wiping the tears.

" hey it'll be okay " he said and i quickly let go.

" wait " Serenity said and i turned around.

" what is it? " i asked softly.

" look " she said pointing to the tv in front of her.

" I know " I said and hesitantly closed the door.

" go " I said turning to Henry and he quickly went to the drivers side.

I heard screaming which turned into crying and I waved at the car as it pulled off.

I silently cried and looked at the car that seemed to disappear quickly.

I walked through the gates and took in deep breaths.

As I walked I saw the guards give me curious looks but I ignored it.

I promise I will find whoever this person is and torture them endlessly.

When I got in the house I slowly walked to and up the stairs with no energy left in me.
