*Nico's POV*

I readied my sword and faced Ágalma. She just stood there...with no weapon. I was confused but didn't let it show. I just steadied myself and we circled the arena facing each other. All of a sudden she raised her hand and half of the ceiling fell on top of me. Ugh....how could I not have seen that coming! I got out under the rubble and sheathed my sword. She was just about to raise her hand again, when I cracked the floor under her, making her lose her footing and slip. By this time, even she was mad and without even bothering to get up she caused the rubble to raise itself and go after me, more specifically my head.

Being a son of Hades meant I could control rocks too, so I beat her at her own game by making the rubble halt, and then zoom towards her instead. She managed to stop it right before it knocked her out again and we started to play a game of 'catch the rubble'. We both attempted to make it go towards the other while trying not to lose our footing or concentration and making it hit us instead. We didn't even realise when it started raining and half the hall became wet (including half the arena) and drenched the unfortunate people who happened to sit there as well as Ágalma and me. We only realised when I slipped and almost fell, causing her to take advantage and throw the remaining rubble at me. She scored......almost.

I managed to slide out right in time and avoided getting a concussion. This time I was not going to let her go unharmed. I used the rubble behind me to make a large fist. She just watched with wide eyes, as the fist got closer and closer to her and punched her, (lightly, it was against the rules to kill her......unfortunately)knocking her out. Now, technically we have to make the other person yield, but since she is unconscious, I'm not sure what's going to happen. Well, I got my answer when Chaos stood up and announced the winner. The bell sounded, signalling the end of the first round. We would have half an hour of rest before the second round started. In the meanwhile, the three winners would officially be made members of the Elite team. Maz ran up to me and started jumping up and down in excitement. I think she was more excited about this than I was.

Finally, Chaos stood up to announce the winners.

"First, there is Mátaios (Vain) from Kenós (Void). Do you hereby pledge yourself to the Galaxious, the Elite Team of the Chaos Warriors?"

"I do"

"Do you swear on the River Void to be loyal to this cause, to the Galaxious, to the Chaos Warriors, until you retire?"

"I do"

There was a loud 'boom', signalling that the swear had been sealed.

"And do you swear on the River Void to protect the people of νεφέλωμα and all our allies?"

"I do"

Another 'boom'.

"Well then, I present to you, your newest Galaxious member - Mátaios of the planet Kenós."

This was then repeated for -

"Then we have Íroas (Hero) from Exogíino (Alien). Do you hereby pledge yourself to the Galaxious, the Elite Team of the Chaos Warriors?"

"I do"

"Do you swear on the River Void to be loyal to this cause, to the Galaxious, to the Chaos Warriors, until you retire?"

"I do"

There was another loud 'boom', signalling that the swear had been sealed.

"And do you swear on the River Void to protect the people of νεφέλωμα and all our allies?"

"I do"

One more 'boom'.

"Well then, I present to you, your newest Galaxious member - Íroas from the planet Exogíino."

And lastly, I walked up to the platform and stood beside Chaos. He made me face him and placed his hand on my shoulder sending a jolt of electricity through me. Apparently, he also got electrocuted because he looked at me in confusion and raised an eyebrow. I just shook my head and shrugged, signalling that I had no idea what the heck just happened. Chaos quickly started to talk, so as to not create suspicion, but signalled to me to come and talk to him afterwards.

"Lastly we have Nico di Angelo from Earth. Do you hereby pledge yourself to the Galaxious, the Elite Team of the Chaos Warriors?"

"I do"

"Do you swear on the River Void to be loyal to this cause, to the Galaxious, to the Chaos Warriors, until you retire?"

"I do"

Nothing happened for a while and then, 'BOOM'.

"And do you swear on the River Void to protect the people of νεφέλωμα and all our allies?"

"I do"

One final (hopefully) 'boom'.

"Well then, I present to you, your newest Galaxious member - Nico di Angelo from the planet Earth".

I walked off stage to join the other two members. Mátaios and Íroas were apparently both extremely talkative, because they immediately struck up a conversation, completely tuning out what Chaos had to say. I, in turn, tuned out what they were saying and turned my attention back towards Chaos. My ADHD had gotten a lot better over the centuries, and now, I rarely got distracted. Turns out only demigods had ADHD to improve their battle skills. Nobody else had that or Dyslexia. Nobody else. Chaos didn't have much to say. Only that the three of us would be competing in half an hour, and that there would be a change in plans....that got me intrigued. We weren't fighting one on one anymore. All three of us were battling together. This would be interesting.

Yeah, Vain and Hero (that's what I'm calling this now) were not paying attention, so I had to tell them the change in plans. I almost didn't say anything, but then again, they are my teammates. We have to work together. Let's do this.
