"naruto I'll protect you!" hinata yelled shielding naruto from the attack.
No! I can't allow hinata to get hurt. She's too important to me! I rushed in and took the attack for both of them. I felt a stabbing pain in my chest and back. I could hear my family yelling before passing out.
I woke up in a white room. Am I in heaven. I could feel myself laying in a soft bed. I sat up feeling incredibly weak.
"neji your awake!" I was immediately takle hugged by naruto ?
"be careful! Your going to hurt him!" hinata?
"welcome back kid" shikamaru?
"where am I? I thought I was dead" I muttered.
"not dead nii-chan. You were just in a coma" hinata said wiping tears away from her eyes.
"a coma?" I questioned.
"yeah you were in a coma for two years" shikamaru said gently.
"two years!" I jumped in shock only to feel immense pain in my chest.
"careful neji you should still be suffering from chest pains" naruto said looking worried.
"this is alot to take in" I sighed "but I'm glad to be back with my family"
They smiled and gave me a group hug. I felt warm and safe in their arms. Like nothing bad could ever happen to me again...
"so who's going to look after neji till he gets better?"
