Shikamarus pov
I woke up with a start. I found myself I a city full of bright lights. My eyes widened in realisation. Shit I must have gotten separated from my team!
I took off running "ino! Choji!" I yelled out for my missing teammate. This is bad. Where the hell are they-
My thoughts were cut off when I accidentally bumped into someone. I looked up to see neji hyuga of all people.
"ow shikamaru what the hell!" neji growled.
"sorry sorry" I muttered as I helped him up "I was kinda in a blind panic. You see I got separated from ino and choji"
"you too huh" he muttered.
"you got separated from your team too!" I said in surprise.
"yeah. At one point Lee was running around being annoying with tenten close behind scolding him and the next a white fog appeared. When the fog lifted they just disappeared" neji explained.
"you sure you weren't on some form of drugs" I raised an eyebrow.
"very funny shikamaru" neji rolled his eyes "now come on. We'll be faster finding our missing comrades if we work together"
I groaned in annoyance. That neji guy has a real stick up his ass. He's going to be a pain to deal with. Still he's right. If we want to find our missing teammates we'd be better off together than alone...
