Sitting on the edge of the building, the pink haired girl let her feet dangle off the edge, letting out a long sigh. Her ears twitched periodically and her eyes darted all around the landscape surrounding the strange laboratory on which roof she was currently sitting on. Her wand was next to her hand, still bustling with the remnants of the healing spells she had to use not even an hour ago. Setting her elbow on her leg she let out a long sigh, feeling the adrenaline from the previous battle subside and get replaced by a feeling of panic and stress. “What now?” she thought, they couldn’t hold back the monsters forever, and all of them were getting tired, even with the help of a godess who overtook the body of one of her friends. She let out a defeated sigh and let her shoulders slump down before letting her head sink onto her knees. “Everything was easier when we didn’t know about robots, artefacts and cursed.” Yelling out her frustration she didn’t hear the person approaching until a pair of hands laid themselves onto her shoulder. Getting quite spooked she practically jumped from where she was sitting, almost falling off of the roof in the process. If it wasn’t for the person to react quickly and throw their hands around her mid part she would have definitely fallen off. Shakily the sorceress turned around and trailed her eyes up the newcomers body, stopping at the two different colored eyes and instantly getting lost in them. After a few seconds of silence the boy cleared his throat, breaking the seemingly bewitching spell that had befallen the girl in front of him and sat down on the edge with her. “Are you ok?” He asked but he already knew the answer she was going to give him. . Stiffening for a second she turned to look at him before finally she couldn’t hold it in anymore and her tears just broke free. Watching the sobbing girl, the scientists didn’t really know what to do with her, the only real encounters he had were with his sister but she didn’t really broke down in front of him like the cat girl before him. His mind was screaming at him to do something and the gears inside his head were turning on rapid-fire to find a possible solution. In the end he just simply decided to take the shaking girl into his arms and hug her, even though it wasn’t what he was normally comfortable with. When the girl felt the warmth around her body, her first instinct was to snuggle closer, relishing in the fuzzy feeling it gave her and the way it helped clear her mind immediately. A second later, when her head was clear enough to comprehend what was happening she immediately jumped backwards, almost falling off the roof again, and stared at the boy across from her. Her eyes were opened wide and her cheeks took a dark shade of pink, which she hid under her hands while mumbling stuff along the lines of: “don’t look,” and “I am so sorry”. All the boy did was stare the girl in confusion before turning back towards the way down from the roof. “Well I should be getting back to work now, maybe one day I can bring her back.” All Tikki could do was look at him and slowly nod, her shoulders falling in disappointment. “I should be off too, I promised a friend to help them out with something.” Taking her leave she shortly stopped at the entrance to look back at Jason. “May I visit you again?” She asked sheepishly, her vision trained on the ground. “Sure, you can come visit.” Jason beamed before vanishing in the dark parts of the lab, probably searching for some kind of information. Dejected the girl left towards the city, not missing one last glance back towards the big white building, and made her way into the tavern.
The owner was still there, even for it being really late and she cautiously made her way up on one of the barstools. Smiling at the boy, him now having a very girly appearance after absorbing some strange power she didn’t understand, she greeted him and ordered some water to drink. The talk with Jason had called up very strange and foreign feelings inside of her and she did not like them one bit. When the tavern owner send her a questioning look she just shook her head and looked down again. Finishing her drink and paying the owner, who was very strict with payment being given, she said a quick goodbye and left towards her house. When she reached her bedroom the girl instantly flopped down onto her bed, finally letting the tears roll down her face and into the pillow case. She knew she shouldn’t have put her hopes up, that the boy she and her friends found in the laboratory was not exactly like them and didn’t have time for many emotions between work and bringing his sister back, but it still stung like a bee, deep inside her heart. Thinking back to the time the girl met the scientist boy for the first time she had to smile, knowing why they were there in the first place and all the foreign feelings he set off in her stomach. Making a mental note to ask her friends what the feeling was she crawled under the blanket and fell asleep.
Opening her eyes the girl was met with a rope around her wrists and a piece of cloth in her mouth. Confused and scared all she could do is whimper for help and thrash In her binds, although it did nothing to aid her predicament. Out of the corner in her eye she could see a dark figure approaching, squatting down right in front of her. “You will do nicely for my plan,” they mumbled and raised the girls head with their hand rather harshly. “They like you, consider you their friend, some maybe even more. I know they will come search for you, and then I can finally get control again and be back to my old powers.”
