JENNIE

"No."

I looked at her again, my eyebrows furrowing as her word confused me. A blood dripped down her nose that made my eyes go wide while she calmly wiped it and cursed under her breath, looking at me again.

"What made you think I'll play just for you?" She asks, quirking an eyebrow while I stood there, looking at her in utter disbelief as she walked passed me.

This behaviour is not acceptable!

"Hey! We agreed on a deal! You can't just back out now!" I told her, following behind as she stopped on her tracks that made me bump on her back. She was just as tall as me, but her body was surely well-built than mine.

"No. I don't just do dates. In fact, I don't want to date anyone. Not even you." She told me. It broke my heart into pieces hearing what she just said as I nod my head and walked away from her.

I really thought I could help her.

Maybe she's not really interested in playing again.

"Jenjen! Where have you been, nerd? We've been loooking for you." My friend, Sooyoung, said. I approached our table, sitting down beside Chaeyoung, who was munching on her burger as she kept her gaze on me as if she's telling me 'I missed out something fun'.

"Kim Jisoo, our hot senior just got into fight today with the bastard, Jun." Sooyoung informs me. I remembered well how Jisoo's eyes were burning at what the bastard spit out against her. It's as if what he said were true, but she kept denying that it wasn't. Her anger were out so much on him and if her friends didn't stop her, I'm not sure what the bastard's condition is right now.

"Oh, yeah. I've heard it too, rumors said it's because of Jisoo's ex-girlfriend, that's why a fight broke out between them." Chaeyoung chimed in, gulping the food she munching on as she joined our little 'gossip' about our senior.

"They said Jun provoked Jisoo with her ex-girlfriend into the max that's why she almost killed the bastard." Sooyoung added, biting onto her burger while I sighed. Gossips became louder around the cafeteria and my friends looked over at the entrance, nudging on my side to make me look over it too.

"It's our hot senior." Sooyoung whispered to me. I practically broke my neck at how fast I reacted, and I saw how Jisoo walked through her group of friends, a bruise on her cheek and a bandage on her hand, not minding the gossips about her.

"Do you think she's okay? You could clearly see her bruise is not just a normal bruise." Chaeyoung whispered against me, and Sooyoung, as we minded our own business.

"You should have seen Jun's face. His face was a total wreck after the fight!" Sooyoung giggled. Chaeyoung snorts in return and continued eating her burger back while I played with my fingers, thinking about what Jisoo had said to me a while ago.

Does she not really want to play again?

"Unnie? I'm home!" Jennie shouts, her voice echoing through the empty house. She made way through the living room and slumped herself down, exhausted after a long day in school.

"Jen, you're finally home" Some sweet voice greeted. Jennie turned and a smile formed on her lips after seeing the older girl approaching her.

"Did you eat already?"

"Yeah, Sooyoung and Chaeng insisted we should eat outside"

The older girl smiles and pats Jennie's head before the younger lays down on the couch and groans in satisfaction.
