summary : Jisoo always knew she was just Jennie's second lead, her second option in everything. But she was still happy knowing that she was still somehow a part of her heart, the person whom she loves the most.
JISOO
I was running through the stairs, not wanting to waste anytime. Jennie was crying and from her tone, she definitely needs me right now. Without hesitation, I got out of my condo and drove to where Jennie lived, telling her to wait for me to arrive.
Once I was in front of her condo unit, I tried to fix myself and catch my breath from all the running that I did. I lift my fist and knocked on the door for three times before it finally opened, revealing a puffy eyed Jennie.
Very obvious she cried so much.
"Chu..." Jennie cried out. She immediately hugged me which caught me off guard, causing for me to lose a bit of my balance but regained it back and hugged Jennie as tight as she was hugging me. She was crying and her sobs were muffled when she buried her face on my chest.
"Jendeuk, let's go inside... I'll cook you something you want to eat. How's that sound, princess?" I said to help her lift up her mood even for a bit. It seem to work out when she pushed me away from her gently and nod her head cutely which made me smile.
"Come on, stop crying, you look like an innocent dumpling with your eyes puffy like that" I teasingly said to her, a smirk on my lips when I see her cheeks blush while her eyes sent glares at me.
"I'm not a dumpling!" Jennie hissed, punching my arm and walked back inside her condo unit.
I could only chuckle in response and walk inside, following behind her. My eyes widen in fear seeing broken glasses shattered across the living room. I looked at Jennie with questions running through my head but seeing the younger girl was crying while looking over the shattered glasses, I let it pass this time.
"Go and sit over there first, I'll just clean this up before I cook something for you" I said and guided her to the nearest chair. I grabbed some gloves and plastic, a broom and a dustpan to start cleaning the glasses.

"There we go" I groaned in relieve after I put the trash bag down on it's place. I was about to go back inside the condo building but I remembered there was a near 24/7 store in here.
Without a second thought, I quickly ran to the store to buy some sweets that would help Jennie calm down for the night.
And maybe a movie night would help her forget about the fight that happened between her and her lover.
—
"Chu? Are you back?"
Jennie's baby voice quickly got my attention. I smiled and closed the door, not forgetting to lock it, before I run to where I left her. There she was pouting, sitting, like a child that was scolded by her parents.
"Hey... I bought you ice cream, chocolates, uhh... some candies. Do you still want me to cook you some food?" I asked. Jennie just gave me a smile and run over to me, hugging me as if her life depended on me.
My heart fluttered so much and I know that she could hear my heart beating so fast right now.
"Chu?"
"Hmm?"
"Your heart is beating so fast right now" Jennie pointed out, giggling. I nervously laughed and cleared my throat while Jennie pulls away from the hug, a smirk playing on her lips.
"Huh, I wonder why" I fired back, shrugging to shoo that smirk away from Jennie's face. Even when she's crying about her love life or what, she always have the time to tease me about my fluttering heart whenever she hugs me.
