Jisoo heaves out a deep sigh, letting her body rest on the couch. Her work hours just finished and she immediately went home to take some rest after a long day.
"What a tiring day.."
Letting her eyes rest for a moment, she enjoyed the calm and peaceful time she had. Not long after, she felt a pair of hands wrapped around her waist, a smile quickly forming on her lips.
"How's your day, baby?" Her lover asked, softly placing kisses on her forehead.
Jisoo smiled, wrapping her arms around her lover's waist and let her sit on her lap. Sighing. "Horrible. But I'm okay now, I'm with you now, baby."
Ten years of being together yet, Jisoo still falls for her over and over again. Her love only grew stronger and never did she thought of letting her lover go. Ever.
"Jennie, baby," Jisoo opened her eyes, meeting the most beautiful brown eyes she's ever landed her eyes on. Cupping her face, she leaned to give it a kiss. A soft, gentle kiss, full of love.
"Hmm? Is something bothering you, baby?"
Jisoo buries her face against the brunette's neck, inhaling her scent that always calms Jisoo. "Nothing, baby, I just miss you so much"
Jennie's heart fluttered. She grins and lets Jisoo pepper her neck with kisses while she comfortably sits on her lap, patting Jisoo's back gently.
"I missed you too, baby."
They stayed like that for a moment. Until Jisoo shifts, letting Jennie sit down beside her, a frown on her face.
"Jennie," Jisoo started. Her tone visibly changing. Jennie waited for her to continue.
"I can't marry you. I don't want to. I'm sorry."
Letting Jisoo's words sink in, Jennie's whole world shatter apart.
—
"Kim Jennie!" Chants from the crowds made Jennie smile widely. She waves at them before going backstage. After years of trying to pursue her dream career, she finally landed where she deserves to be.
The only difference was, there was no Jisoo supporting her, every walk along the way.
The thought of her past lover made her mood bitter. She took a sit and relaxed herself after performing for hours.
"Sir! You'll be put in jail if you keep doing this! Please leave now!"
A commission immediately got Jennie's attention and saw her guards pushing someone away. Her eyebrows furrowed, she stood up, attempting to see what was happening but her manager was quick to stop her.
"Let it go, Jen. It might be someone who can hurt you. Let the guards do their job."
Jennie heaves out a sigh. She turns to leave the place, but the manly familiar voice stopped her from her tracks.
"Jennie noona! It's me Wonhoo! Wonhoo Kim! I need to talk to you!" Shouted the man. He was kicked and dropped down on the ground, the guards gripping tightly on him so he won't escape them.
Jennie gulps. She saw the man's face and immediately recognized him. "Wonhoo?"
Jennie walked to them and tapped her guards, telling them to let him go. She felt uneasy seeing Wonhoo after two years passed.
"Wonhoo! What are you doing.. in here? I thought you and her stayed in New York?" Jennie frowns in confusion. Wonhoo fixes his clothes and sighs.
"Can... can we talk in private, noona? Please?" Wonhoo scratches his nape, too shy to face such beauty like Jennie's once again. Jennie nods and led Wonhoo to her room, letting him rest. She sat down beside him, giving him a glass of water and waited for the younger boy to start.
