Chapter 1

Quinn's POV
I wake up to the sound of my door being slammed. I looked up to see my dad in his torn up shirt and pants glory walking to my bed. "when I say get up you get up!" He yelled before he throw a beer glass at my window and pulled my hair so I meet his eyes. "but I-" "no buts ok this is my house and you do whatever I say!" We were so close that could smell beer. "let go of my hair." said weekly "you don't get that attitude with me missy!" My dad yelled as he through me on the ground. I groaned and cried out for my mom as he kicked my side 5 times. he moved me so I was facing him and he started to punch me but I some how managed to kick him in the bad spot which made him hunch over in pain and give time to escape. once I got up I saw that my mom was standing in my door way with a face of horror. "Mom!" I said as I ran up to her and she wrapped her arms around me. once my dad could meet my mom's eyes she said "get out of my house." "What did you just say to me woman." my dad said as he got up "you heard me get of this house now before I call the police." mom said in that tone she would used when I got in trouble. my dad walked up to us and pulled me out of her grip then pushed me to my bed "don't touch her!" Mom yelled. my dad turned around and slapped her 3 times. I ran up to him "stop don't hurt her!" I yelled but it did no good because he pushed me into the wall really hard. I landed on the my butt with a huge throbbing pain to see my mom on the ground being punch a couple of times before I blacked out.
