Chapter 4:Little ninja girl!

Zack and Kairi made it to the gates, just to see wutai troopers surrounding the gate, trying to stop them from going in.
"No one passes beyond this point! The enemy is but one man and a...child? obliterate them!" said A Wutai trooper. Kairi rolled her eyes, she hated being known as a child, she is 14, nearly 15 years old for crying out loud!
Eventually they took them out, one by one.
Kairi panted hard as they finished one of them off.
"you good, princess?" asked Zack, and she glare at him, punching his arm.
"don't call me princess, jerk" she said and he laughed.
"What?" she asked.
"I can't say no to that face." he said and she stick her tongue out at him.
"All right piece of cake!" said Zack and they run in.
Zack answered his phone.
"Were you able to get into the fortress?" asked Angeal.
"piece of cake! I could do this blindfolded." said Zack, kairi rolled her eyes, she loved to see that, and then watch his butt get kicked.
"Don't get too careless. I've heard the wutai keep a large monster for anti-SOLDIER purposes. It should be inside somewhere in the fort tamblin." said Angeal.
"if I take it out, do you think i'll make first class?" asked Zack.
"it depends on the quality of work. Your main duty is to draw the wutai to you two, running amok." said Angeal.
"Amok, amok, amok!" said kairi mimicking Sarah Anderson from Disney Hocus Pocus.
"I heard that, sweetheart." chuckled Angeal, and she giggled.
"Do that well, and the director will give you a favorable evaluation" Angeal told him.
"tell him i don't want one." muttered Kairi.
"too late." said Angeal.
"That's easy, leave it to us!" said Zack.
"Kairi..." said Angeal gravely.
"yes, daddy?" she asked nervously.
"It's about Billy, i don't know how, but he knows you're here. If you see him, let Zack deal with him. I don't want you getting hurt." he said.
she was thankful for the warning, but that didn't mean she was fearless, Billy, after all this time, still frightens her.
"thank you, Daddy, and ok." she said quietly.
they bump into more Wutai troopers along the way, and then they got to the temple.
A young girl, around kairi's age was at the top of the stairs, she has short black hair, with a band tied around her head, and wore ninja-like clothes, and she has pretty brown eyes.
"she's cute." said Kairi.
"Who are you?" asked Zack.
"i'm Wutai's greatest warrior! If you wanna go further, you'll have to go through me!" said the ninja girl.
"A kid?" asked Zack.
Kairi rolled her eyes at him.
"You shouldn't be here, it's too dangerous! Go home to your parents." said Zack telling the ninja girl off.
And somehow she jump to land on the other side of them.
"You two are the ones that are going to go home! If you insist on going further, you'll have a fight on your hands!" said the ninja girl.
"oh, man. what am i supposed to do here?" asked zack rubbing his head.
"Wap! pow! bam! Take that bad guy!" said the ninja girl, and kairi snorted at that.
Zack said nothing for a spilt second, and then he got to his knees dramatically.
"Arrgh! no! you got me!" said Zack pretending to be injuried.
"There! That'll teach you to mess with me! Once again, i brought peace to wutai!" she said and run, her arms spreading wide as if she was about to take flight.
kairi finally busted into laughter.
"yeah, yeah. laugh it up, princess. laugh it up." said Zack rolling his eyes.
"yeah, you got your butt kicked by a kid!" she teased him.
"shut it. And don't tell Angeal about this, he'll never let me forget it!" he told her.
"it'll be funny, besides he won't have to, i'll do it myself." she said, half jokingly.
he rolled his eyes. "but, oh boy, oh boy. you gotta admire that energy. well...back to work i guess." said Zack, but kairi looked to where the girl ran off to to see her peeking curiously at her, and she smile and they both entered the building.

then everything went dark for Kairi.

Zack didn't notice her getting grabbed, since two SOLDIER Anti monsters showed up so he fought them and they went down.
"SOLDIER 2nd class Zack, victorious once again!" said zack into his phone.
"Good work. Now get out of there There's only five mintues till detonation." Angeal told him.
"understood!" he said and hang up.
"Director Lazard! Are you watching?" shouted out Zack.
"gotta move!" he added, and then jump out of the way as another one came out, he fought it and won, and then he got hit back into a wall, and that was when he notice.
"Kai?" he asked, and he heard a cry of pain.
"not good." he said pointing his sword at him, and then the monster gasped its death breath and fell to reveal Angeal.
"That's one more you owe me." Angeal teased him.
he shook his head and rub his eyes.
"You lost your focus." said Angeal.
"uhhh....yeah?" he said and then notice he was using the bigger sword.
"oh, sorry if your swords got any wear tear or rust on it." said Zack, and he put it on his back.
"you're a little more important than my sword. But just a little" said Angeal chuckling.
"thanks. oh, kairi." he said.
"where is she?" he asked using his smile, and then there was a cry of pain again.
they run to the next room to see kairi tied to the celling, whimpering. a man with grey hair was beating her.
Angeal picked up kairi's sword and run it through him.
then he untied her.
"i've got you, honey. i've got you." he said gentle as he lowered her to the ground gentle.
"da-daddy, bill-billy." she whimpered.
"it's okay, it's over. he can no longer hurt you anymore. you're safe." said Angeal gentle. she whimpered as he tried to pick her up.
"Kairi, you need to rest, and i need to pick you up. i know you're in pain, baby girl." he said comfortingly.
then she passed out in Angeal's arms.
he picked her up,
"Let's go, she needs a medical check." said Angeal and they left the building and head to the forest.
