Chapter 2:training disaster and brief.

Kairi Hewley now 14 years old, she has brown hair which is tied back into a ponytail, of course she was in SOLDIER second class uniform, just as the same as Zack.
"Wutai troops have hijacked Shrina Express MK93. The train is currently headed to Midgar" Sector 8. Two SOLDIER operatives will be inserted to neturalize the situation. commence mission 3, 2, 1, Mark." said a voice on the radio.

they both got up open the door.
"The train has been overruned by Wutai troops. Eliminate them and regain control of the train." said her daddy, Angeal.
"oh, yeah!" said Zack, and Kairi rolled her eyes.
and they both jump from the helicopter, landing on their feet.
"Zack! Kairi!" said Angeal, and he jump after them, and they both looked to him, looking serious.
"There are no shrina troops on this train. Understood?" he asked, kairi didn't like the sound of that, and he nod to her.
she turn and followed Zack.
As soon as they jump onto the next cart, someone was shooting at them from the inside, so they kept moving their feet, trying to dodge the bullets, they feel onto their knees and one missed Zack by an inch.
"hello to you, too." he said, and Kairi snorted. Sometimes she thinks he is such an idiot. But what's what she likes about him.
They got back up and start running when Wutai troops showed up on the roof, aiming at them.
"Come and get it!" said Zack as they both got out their SOLDIER's swords out and put them down, Zack smirked and then a lot of them came out from the train. So they jump over them, and land taking them out.
"SOLDIER, Second class, Zack on the job!!" said Zack as they took out the thing that connects the train together, leaving the wutai's behind.
they got to sector 8's train station and land onto the platform.
Zack's phone rang and he answer putting it on loudspeaker.
"Making progress, Zack, kairi?" asked Angeal.
"What's going on, Angeal? why are we fighting Shrina troops?" asked Zack.
"yes, it's a bit confusing, Daddy." said Kairi, despite her being 14, she still calls Angeal Daddy.
"They're Wutai troops in disguise. Now, both of you head to the open area above." said Angeal.
"Towards Sector 8?" Asked Zack.
"yes. But first you both need to clear a path." said Angeal.
"A path?" asked Zack.
"You'll both see what I mean. Be careful. Especially you, Kai." said Angeal.
"I'll be fine, Daddy." said Kairi, but she didn't sound it.
"I know you will be." he said softly to her, and Zack and then the wutai troopers started shooting at them, missing them.
"So, I can cut loose, right?" asked Zack.
"use some discretion." Angeal told them and Zack end up the call and got his sword.
"it's showtime!" said Zack, and Kairi rolled her eyes as she got her own sword.

they fought the Wutai's troopers, and put them down.
"awesome job, kai!" said Zack, and she smile shyly.
"thanks." she said smacking his hand away as he was about to ruffle it up and he laughed as he answered his phone.
"not bad." said Angeal.
"Piece of cake! I will make 1st in no time!" said Zack.
Kairi rolled her eyes at him.
"Go up the stairs at the end of the platform." said Angeal.
"You got it!" said Zack and they run up the stairs, but Kairi stopped, feeling eyes on her and she looked to see no one there.
so she shook her head and run after Zack.
And at the end of the street was a behemoth, a big one.
So they fought it, Kairi hated these monsters.
afterwards as she dusted her trousers off, someone grabbed her hair and hot air reached her ear.
"It's been a long time, sinful." snarled a voice filled with hatred and rage.

Zack felt a blade to the side of his throat, just a few inches on his shoulder, so he put his hands up in surrender.
"Showing your back to the enemy....overconfidence will destroy you." said a voice husky.
he turned around to see Sephiroth.
"Wh-what is this?" asked Zack and he reach for his sword, blocking his attacks.
"Damn it. You're not the only hero." said Zack.
"It's over." said Sephiroth.
He start to strain against Sephiroth's, and he slash back at him, breaking Zack's sword.

Angeal was on his phone.
"Impossible." he heard Zack saying, and then he heard his daughter screaming, the same screams she does when she has a flashback about Billy, so he head their way.
grab Zack's sword and block Sephiroth's attack.

Zack sit up.
"thanks, Angeal." said Zack.

Angeal stand up, looking to Sephiroth, and then saw his daughter unconcius, with Billy looming over her. How did he get in this?
he abort the mission, and midgar disappeared into the training room.
"Training's over." said Angeal.
"Wha? Why?" asked Zack, he took off the VR and he point his broken sword at him.

"You serious? I just getting warmed up!" said Zack taking off the VR.
Angeal hand him his sword, and he took it, sighing.
He went to kairi, and check over her, she just had a bruise on the side of her face. He lift her up into his arms, her head resting against his shoulder.
"Embrace your dreams." said Angeal.
"huh?" asked Zack.
"If you want to be a hero, you have to have dreams, and ...honor." he said, and he left, leaving him to figure it out.
But he doubts it.

Angeal Laid Kairi onto her bed and waited for her to wake up in her own time, it was more likely she just passed out due to her fear.

Soon enough she start to moan and whimper, and he took her hand and she open her eyes, sitting up, panting.
he sat on the bed and held her.
"it's okay, you're safe now, sweetheart." he said comfortingly, but she shook her head.
"bu-but Billy, he, how?" she said panting hard.

"I know, princess bunny. i know. he was just fake, it was just training, remember." he told her firmly. and he held her until she calmed down.
"all right, just try to rest. i'll wake you if you get a bad dream." he said and he help her to lie down and she held onto her bunny toy he had gotten her those years ago.
