"Right back where we started."

Light crackled around Lysa's body. The feeling of burn sank back into her sore skin as she walked through the temporal portal. She felt Olivia's and Five's grip slip out of her hands as she felt herself falling from the blue energy. Literally.

She let out a grunt of pain when her back hit the burning tar, gritting her teeth. She took a breath as she pulled herself up on her elbows. The energy was still crackling around her hands, and she shook them out to stop the blue electricity around them. She looked around at her surroundings.

She was in an alley, a completely different place from where she had been a few seconds ago, for her. She looked up to see the temporal portal she had just fallen from, squinting her eyes to catch any glimpse of her sister or twin. She got hardly on her feet, not looking away from the blue electricity crackling from the portal Five and she had created as she screamed his name.

"Five ?" No answer. Just the portal crackling at her, almost as if laughing at her situation. "Olivia !" she tried again, cupping her mouth with both her hands towards the portal as it crackled shut. She let her hands fall to her side in defeat, staring at the blue silent sky.

It was only then she seemed to realise what had happened. She got stuck, again.

Alone.

Her family didn't follow her. As lucky as she was they were most likely dead in this destructive apocalypse they tried to stop for the last entire week, without any success.

She looked around herself, scanning the alley she was in for any sign of her family. She was probably jumping to conclusions, they were probably with Five somewhere. Or somewhen.

She didn't hear the camera picturing her frail figure from a nearby window as she fell to the ground, her knees hitting the burning tar again, but she couldn't care less. She let out a shaky breath as she looked back up at the blue sky, free of any clouds.

It was burning. Burning hot. It was probably in the middle of summer seeing the heat she was conflicted to. Sweat was already dripping down her forehead as she bit her lip to stop any cry from escaping her mouth.

She turned around hopefully when she heard waves of laughter from behind her, only to realise they were mocking, and mocking her. She furrowed her eyebrows as a group of around five boys went her way, giggling and bumping their arms into each other's ribs and arms.
