As FrostFang was waiting for his end to come, as well as the pain to know that he was finally dying, he just waited with his eyes closed. But something was talking to him by which it was his sword, however strangely enough it told him something to do "FrostFang open your eyes, look I don't think we're dead at all, please you have to see this." Despite him not wanting to do that because he might see his end, he was curious as to what his sword meant, so he slowly started to open his eyes to a sight he might not ever forget.

White, white everywhere, not a single sight of grass or dirt or even trees in his sight, not even his nose could pick up a scent of anything, it was like he was the only one in this strange yet fascinating world, like it was a balance. But something in the back of his mind was telling him to turn around, to which he did and was greeted with a sight that he would never forget. What he saw was the very thing that pulled him into, it was the big strange gate with the same etches.

With a sense of dread he took a step backwards, but just as he did, he heard a voice, but not from his sword, no it was someone else saying "So you finally came, even though you knew it was pointless to save yourself, and to which you tried to save your best friend from being pulled into the portal. That is a very noble cause, yet in the end it was pointless." At the sound of a different being that's right behind him, he turned around very quickly with Soul Edge draw ready for a strike, but before he even prepared to block he was greeted by a sight he had never seen before.

There sitting on the ground was a very abnormally white lizardman with no eyes and no mouth at all. But something in FrostFangs mind tells him that this thing does have a mouth. It's just that it's closed, but he looked at it to make sure it had no intentions of taking his sword. But before he even asked, it said with the same voice from before saying "I have no interest in taking Soul Edge from you. And besides, what am I going to do with a sword that is stuck here to rust away when it can be out there helping out the people." After hearing these words he eased up a little, just enough for him to holster Soul Edge on his back, with it creating a double flesh like strap that is strong enough to support its weight.

After holstering Soul Edge, he looks at the strange being and starts having questions that he needs to get off his chest as he said. "Where are we, what is that door thing that's behind me and most importantly what are you anyway?" As he said this, the mysterious figure felt a little joy at the beginning because FrostFang was asking questions, but when he asked who he was, that was enough for him to give him answers.

After FrostFang asked all of them, he couldn't help but worry because this mysterious being was a little excited at his question, especially when he asked what he was. That's when the being begins to speak with a little joy in its voice "Where are we? We are on the other side of the portal just right behind you. As for what it is, it's 'your' portal of Truth, well your half of it which is your Soul Edge. And as for me..." When the being said that, a sense of pride wells up inside of it to explain itself to FrostFang and also a sense of pain because he needs to give him back his memories because they were damaged when he arrived in that world he sensed.

Then he finally begins to explain himself. "Well, One name you might have for me is the World, or you might call me the Universe, or perhaps God, or perhaps the Truth. I am All, and I am One..." As he said this his right hand begins to lift up with its fingers starting to curl up, except for one, to which he finally starts pointing right at FrostFang. When FrostFang saw this, a sense of dread shot up from the tip of his tail to his spine as he shivered at the last words of Truth's said to him. "So, of course, this also means that I am you." When he finishes saying that, he hears something scraping across the ground, he turns around to see the portal starting to open showing its black abyss of nothing once again.
