My little sister left me
something important,
That i call today
My jar of words.Filled with negativity she never wished to say,
Compliments she wouldn't pronounce,
'Thank You's that were meaningless,
And regrets.Filled with my favorite things;
Language of the flowers,
Old holidays and warmth,
And laughter as we used alusions. At least that's what it seemed like.
Being delusional and all,
I thought pessimistic thinking
Would diminish.
---------------
My jar of words is filled with light,
My secrets,
My loves,
My dreams and past.Black stars at the bottom,
Red flower petals on top.
I wish my sister had noticed her jar of words
Sooner than not.She left me something
I'll always remember,
My glowing, beautiful,
Jar of Words.
