Chapter 13: The Truth 

After Josh told them what happened between the Mikaelson's and his parents.

Kevin: I don't believe you
Josh: it's the truth
Kevin: all the time I thought the reason we didn't like them because they kicked dad out of the church, now there's more to the story *sits up and walks out of the room*
Dani: Kevin...
Josh: give him some time. It's a lot to take in
Dani: shouldn't we call the police on them
Josh: at the time, we figure it was best to not let Kevin and Megan know about this and let them mourn over their parents and not look for revenge on them
Joe: so you rather Kevin hate them than send them to jail for committing a crime! Something else is not adding up dude, why are you protecting them!
Josh: because they tried to frame me. I use to work for them. They have evidenced that I helped planned the whole thing
Nick: but you didn't
Josh: no I didn't
Joe: you could use that, say you were blackmailed
Josh: without any proof?
Dani: Kevin and I have a friend from the FBI that can helped, they can wire you to get a confession that it was Mikaelson's family who killed his parents
Nick: wait, Kevin told his, parents was killed in their private jet, how were you guys able to cover it up without making it seems it was done
Josh: I don know, that's something the Mikaelson's would have to confess to us, but they won't confess to us, they might confess it to Megan or someone close to her
Dani: you mean Logan
Josh: if Megan says he's the good guy she says he is, let's put him to a test
Joe: I don't think Logan will help us with outing his parents to the FBI, what if he did know
Nick: Joe, he's a kid. His family wouldn't put him in that predicament
Kristy: *comes in* is Megan here?
Josh: no, I thought she was with you guys
Lily: *comes in* guys Megan texted me, she left
Nick: why would she leave in the middle of her party
Lily: I don't know she wouldn't tell me
Josh: alright will go find her, Dani go get Kevin and send the guest home
Dani: alright, I'll trying calling Megan
Lily: don't bother when I called her it went straight the voicemail, she's ignoring my calls and text
Dani: that's not like her
Kristy: guys I'm worried
Josh: alright, alright, Joe you go with Lily and Nick you go with Kristy. I'll check the cameras with Dani to see where she might have gone too

Megan's POV
After my argument with my family, I stormed outside.

Lily: Megan?!
Megan: what!
Lily: where are you going?
Megan: I'm leaving and going as far away from Kevin and Danielle as possible
Lily: where are you going?
Megan: Lily, it's best if you didn't know where I was going right now *leaves*

I stepped out of the house and grabbed Tyson so we can go on a walk. I texted Logan and told him I want to go meet up at his place and he said "sure".

So I grabbed Tyson leash and went of for a walk toward the Mikaelson's house.

I arrived at the gate of the Mikaelson's home. I had to tell the guard who my name was and he said Logan has been expecting me.

I met up with Logan in the front and I hug him and said.

Megan: woah, your estate is big
Logan: thanks, it's my parents house but I've been living in it by myself with my Butler

We took a seat on the swing bench on the patio and I was holding Tyson on my lap.

Megan: I would hate not being able to see my parents, now that I know how much life would take them away from me
Logan: I'm sorry, how did they die?
Megan: airplane accident
Logan: oh no, were their other people with them?
Megan: just them and the pilot and servants on board of course. I was a private plane. Which is odd because my parents don't have one, I never knew they could afford one unless it was a present from my brother Kevin, he's the one that's rich
Logan: ah I understand, why do you think it was weird?
Megan: yeah cause normally plane rarely go down like that unless something was wrong with the plane itself or someone sabotage it
Logan: you think someone would try to kill them
Megan: maybe, Logan... why does my family hate you guys so much
Logan: I wish I knew too, I'm just stuck in the middle of all of this as you're
Megan: I wish both of our family can get along

Just then Megan's phone rang and she hung up immediately.

Logan: what was that?
Megan: my family keeps calling me
Logan: maybe we should head back then
Megan: nah, I'm avoiding them right now. I wanna cool down for a bit before I talk to Kevin again
Logan: so... you want to see the inside my house?
Megan: sure, is it okay if Tyson comes in?
Logan: absolutely, he can hang out with my dog in the play room
Megan: woah you have a play room for your pets?
Logan: yeah, but it's not something I like to brag about
Megan: I think it's cool, and thanks for the bracelet btw, I love the present.
Logan: anytime *smiles at her*
Megan: *smiles back*

Megan's Inner Monologue
Oh my gosh, am I falling for Logan, I really hope not. I mean I like him and all, but I'm not sure yet what his tensions are with me. Wow, I can see why Kevin might be worried after all I did get my heart broken 2 times by Christopher so I'm not sure if he will  do the same back as well.
