Chapter 17: Logan Learns The Truth
Logan made it to the Jonas's residence after sneaking out of the house. He rings the door bell and it was Kevin who answered.
Kevin gives Logan a long hard look and Logan stood his ground not intimidated by his glare.
Kevin: Logan...
Logan: *strutters* K-Kevin
Kevin: come in, I see you got Megan's text
Logan: you invited me? Why I thought you hated me
Kevin: Megan doesn't know you're here, she's being doing school. I took her phone away for texting during school.
Logan: oh
Kevin: have a seat
Logan: uh... hello
Dani: hello Logan, I'm Danielle Kevin's wife but my family and friends calls me Dani
Logan: *shy* hi Dani. Why am I here? I thought you hate me
Kevin: oh I still do, but it might change
Logan: really? What's up?
Kevin: I found out recently that the reason our family hates each other is way serious then it is
Logan: what is it?
Kevin: your father, well... *squeeze Dani's hand* he killed my parents
Logan: what no way!
Kevin: it's the truth, you remember that trip they were all supposed to go on
Logan: yeah after my dad told me he made up with Mr. Jonas for losing his job they were suppose to go on vacation together
Kevin: well that never happened. Apparently the private jet your dad lend to my parents crashed
Logan: what! And you think my dad had something to do with this?
Kevin: yes. You see my uncle use to work for your dad
Logan: so why am I here?
Kevin: because we have no proof that your dad admitted it. We have a friend that works in the FBI that's willing to wire you. There's more tho, apparently from what the FBI says that they have been trying to catch your dad for months because apparently he's been taking people money
Logan: that explains why my dad never wanted me in his office
Kevin: what's in his office?
Logan: I don't know I never got to chance to check because my Butler was always around to make sure I don't go in
Kevin: we just need to find away to let the FBI in without your dad getting suspicious
Logan: don't the FBI needs a warrant
Kevin: yeah but we have to do it when he's not home
Logan: my dad's never home
Kevin: I'll let my friend know you're here
The FBI guy talked to Logan on the phone and explained everything to him on what his dad have done over the years. Logan told them he is willing to do whatever it takes to put him in jail because he always abused him all his life and he was just tired of him and with all the abuse, lies and secrets.
