Third Person POV

" Kook can you help me out here!?" Jungkook's mother shouted from the kitchen.

" Yes mom! I'm coming!" Jungkook immediately replied and went to help his mom.

After the work was completed, his mother thanked him to which he pouted.

" So now you have started saying thank you? I thought I was your son." Jungkook said dramatically and his mother rolled her eyes.

" Take your dramatic ass away from my kitchen. And how are your studies going on?" His mom asked, continuing to make the dinner.

" It's going better than expected. Maybe I'll be able to get placements from the university itself and go to Seoul." Jungkook said with excitement, already dreaming about Seoul.

" And what about Hobi? How is he doing?" His mom asked him about his best friend, to which Jungkook sighed.

" It's the same with Hobi hyung. He fought with his parents and is now living with Jin hyung again." Jungkook said sadly.

" Poor Hobi. I hope he will be able to make his parents understand." His mother said sadly but her expression suddenly changed into a brighter one.

" Why don't you ask Hobi and Jin to come here for dinner? Your father will be back from the farm soon, Jin will also come back from school and I don't think Hobi can cook." His mother said to which Jungkook nodded happily.

" Of course! Maybe he will cheer up!" Jungkook said and ran away to call his best friend.

* Ding dong (iykyk)*

Hoseok opened the door and found his best friend standing out his door.

" Hey Hobi!" Jungkook said merrily. Hoseok gave him some space to enter the house and soon both were in the living room, sitting face to face.

" So bro you know-" As soon as Jungkook started, Hoseok cringed.

" Remove that 'bro' part Kook, it's too straight for my liking. There's no need to copy those straight kids. It ain't gonna make us straight too. We are gay for life." Hoseok said.

" Well, dude-"

Hoseok now glared at Jungkook to which Jungkook let out a laugh.

" Ok, I am sorry!" Jungkook said, " How is it going?" He continued because he knew that his best friend had already concluded what he was here for.

All Hoseok did was let out a deep sigh and it was enough for Jungkook to understand that it's still not going well.

" They will agree with you one-day Hobi..." Jungkook tried to assure him but it seemed like Hoseok had now given up.

" No Kook, I have to give up now. How many more days will I continue fighting over it? I should be thankful enough that they accepted that I am gay. I think it's time to find something else for me." He said sadly. It could be seen on his face that he was hurting to give up like this but it appeared that he had no option left.

" You cannot give up like this! You-"

" Kook please don't. It will just keep on hurting me more and more each day so it's better to give up now." Hoseok said.

Jungkook felt helpless. He knew how much it meant to his best friend but he couldn't find a solution to help him out. He knew he should do something to support his best friend. But for now, he should do something to cheer him up. It feels dark when his sunshine is gloomy.

" Well all that aside, think of yourself as a lucky person my servant." Jungkook started acting with his head high up.

" And why is that, my lord?" Hoseok got into the drama and bowed deep down.

" You are invited to my place by my honorable mother. It seems like she has made food for you herself." Jungkook said.

And that was the moment Hoseok's face lit up. For him, Jungkook's mother is the best chef ever and no one could tell him otherwise.

" Oh my gawd really!? I am coming aunt!" Hoseok ran away leaving Jungkook alone there, dumbfounded.

" Hey you servant! Come back here! The disrespect!"

( At the dinner)

The whole Jeon family including Jin and Hobi were eating the food together and talked and laughed a lot after a long day.

" Oh... How can I forget!?" Jungkook's father spoke, startling everyone at his sudden shout.

" Dad! I was close to a heart attack!" Jimin whined, keeping his hand on his chest.

" ... Sorry." His father laughed sheepishly.

" What is it dad?" Jungkook asked this time.

" My best friend's son is going to stay with us for some days." He started. But when he was about to continue, his wife cut him.

" You have a best friend too? Who wants to make this boring man his friends?" His wife teased to which he glared.

This made everyone at the table laugh at the cute old couple, who were still young by heart.

" Ok ok! Continue!" His wife chuckled.

" Yeah so... the boy who is coming is a little bratty but he is lovable. Take care of him, okay!?" His father continued.

" Huh? Bratty you say? Why though uncle?" Jin asked getting confused as to why the man had to tell them such a thing.

" So as you see, my best friend is like really rich, and the son whom he is sending refused to accept the company which my best friend wants him to take over. He always does what he wants. So my best friend decided to send him here thinking that maybe he would change." Jungkook's father explained them briefly.

" To be honest, rich kids have always been brats. And I don't think he going to change just by coming here." Jungkook shrugged and continued eating his food.

" And who is this best friend of yours?" His wife asked.

" Well let us keep it a secret for now!"
