Third Person POV
Soon the exams started and everyone was busy in their own work. Jungkook was continuously running away from his mom, Jimin and Hoseok as he knew they were only going to talk about Taehyung.
* Knock Knock Knock*
" Yes?" Jungkook asked. He knew for sure that it wasn't Taehyung because Taehyung never knocks. He just enters the room as if its his own.
" It's me, Kook." He heard Hoseok from the other side and sighed.
" I have my studies right now Hobi. Let's talk later okay?" Jungkook said.
Hoseok opened the door nevertheless and entered the room.
" Why would you knock if you are just going to enter anyways?" Jungkook asked him but didn't get an answer from Hoseok.
Hobi settled down on the bed and started talking. " When will you stop running huh?" He asked him.
" From you guys? Till you all stop talking about alien." Jungkook said without looking at him.
" You and I both know what I am talking about Jungkook. When will you stop running from your feelings? Why don't you accept the truth?" Hoseok asked him.
" I DON'T HAVE ANY FEELINGS FOR HIM!!! That's the truth and it will never change." Jungkook shouted at him with frustration.
" Okay. But have you noticed that you are pushing Tae away? Have you noticed that you are distancing yourself not just from us, but also him?" He asked him.
" What are you talking about? Can't you see how he is always around me? Its just that now it's exam time so we can't talk that much." Jungkook said.
" Hmm. Fine. You both are talking to each other right? So you must be knowing that someone just confessed to him." Hoseok said.
Jungkook almost was going to stand up, but took a deep breathe and released it.
" So? What did he say?" Jungkook asked him.
" What do you think? The boy was handsome, tall and also was bulky. Just Tae's type." Hoseok said.
" Not every handsome and bulky guy is right for him." Jungkook rolled his eyes.
" You don't need to be so sour. Tae hasn't answered him YET. Maybe he will see how the guy is and then decide." Hoseok said and waited for Jungkook to speak.
" ...Yeah." That's all Jungkook said.
" Cool. So I just came to say that we won't talk about your feeling anymore. You are sure that you don't have any feeling for him right? Then it's okay. He will also find a partner for himself and you will also stop running away from us in fear that we will talk about Taehyung." Hoseok said.
' When it's actually you who keeps on babbling about him non stop.' He thought further and shook his head.
He was about to leave when he heard Jungkook's timid voice.
" I'm scared."
Hoseok turned around with his eye brows furrowed.
" What?" He asked him with confusion.
" I am scared Hobi. I am so scared of these feelings... I... I do know that I love him." Jungkook confessed making Hoseok widen his eyes.
" When... How?" Hoseok asked him.
" Do you remember the day when Taehyung made soup for me?" Jungkook asked him and Hoseok nodded.
Jungkook continued to tell him the whole story that happened that day.
" And I just knew that this jealousy of mine... this sudden heart beats around him... this uneasiness when he is with others, is love. I love his smile, I love his laugh... I love his everything Hobi. But... But I am scared..." Jungkook looked stressed.
Hoseok walked and sat besides him.
" Scared of what?" He asked him.
" Two reasons... The first one is that he is out of my league. Look at him. He is so beautiful and also super rich. Plus he is the heir to the Kim Family. And me? How can someone like me love him?" Jungkook asked him.
" What do you mean by someone like you? Look at me and Jisung, look at Namjoon and Jin. Even your brother is dating Yoongi happily for a month now. Aren't they out of our league too? So does it mean we should leave our love behind because we belong from completely different worlds?" Hoseok asked him.
" No..." Jungkook replied as he looked down.
" And what is your second reason? Are you scared to love him?" He asked him.
" I am not scared to love Taehyung... I am scared that I won't be loved back by Taehyung. I am scared that Taehyung still looks at me as his ' bunny hybrid' whom he can tease and not anything more than that." Jungkook told him.
" Oh Kook..." Hoseok said. " You kept this to yourself for so long?"
Jungkook just sighed as he kept looking down, not being able to look in anyone's eyes right now. After all, he was telling his inner feelings to someone which was out of his comfort zone.
" Why don't you confess? Confess to him after your exams are over. Maybe he likes you too." Hoseok encouraged his best friend.
But Jungkook shook his head as no.
" I won't. It's just been four-five months. How can he like me in such a short duration of time?" Jungkook asked.
" People fall at first sight Jungkook. Yours took time. And I think it made the two of you know quite well about each other. I mean because of your revenges on each other at the start, you came to know each others likes and dislikes. Because of you spending time together, you came to know he can't cook and he came to know that you have zero fashion sense. You came to know that he is scared of dark and he came to know that you are scared of microwaves. You both know each other pretty well to be in a relationship. Just take a step and see what happens." Hoseok smiled at his friend.
" What if he doesn't like me and instead distances himself from me because I like him? No... I am not going to confess. I'd rather have one sided love and have him with me all the times than confessing him and having him away from me." Jungkook declared making Hoseok throw hands at him.
' How can this guy be so blind that he can't see how much Tae loves him!?' He thought to himself.
" Okay. As you wish." Hoseok said and went out of the room leaving Jungkook alone.
On the other hand, Taehyung walked out of the classroom as he finished the paper a little earlier than he expected. But as he walked through the corridors of his university, he saw something unbelievable.
" GET AWAY FROM HER YOU FREAKS!"
