Third Person POV
" Sure then... It is a long time you know that he loves you and he is here to confess." Yoongi said which had first shocked Taehyung but then it turned into a scoff.
" Don't let his actions fool you Yoonie. I had thought the same when I decided to confess. He just gives false implications but means something totally different." Taehyung's voice was laced with confidence.
" How can you be so sure of that though?" Yoongi raised his eyebrow at his confidence.
" Okay leave my example. Let's take Eunji's case. His actions earlier made the girl think that he likes her when he just looked at her like a sister." Taehyung replied.
Yoongi couldn't question it back. Because whatever Taehyung said was definitely the truth.
" Hmm... I can't say you are wrong, and I can't compulsion you to forgive him, but I want you to give him a chance." Yoongi said.
" But-"
" I know that you are scared to let him near you just to get your heart broken again. But Taebear, love is rare. Especially true love. You don't just look at a person and say, ' Oh I have fallen for him!' No. This is your opportunity to get what you always wanted. I won't tell you to forgive him easily. I want him to suffer a bit more too. But give him a chance. What if you might regret later?" He asked his little brother who seemed perplexed.
Taehyung didn't know what to do anymore. He bit his lips, trying to think of what he should do now. No lie he loves Jungkook, but the never-ending 'what-ifs' makes him rethink everything.
' What if Jungkook doesn't really love me? What if he is just here for an apology, nothing else? What if after I forgive him, he goes away from me? What if he still doesn't like the way I am? What if he wants me to change too?'
Such questions ran inside his head. But suddenly a hand on his shoulder startled him.
" O-Oh..." Taehyung started, " I just don't know Yoonie. If- you know- by chance I forgive him, will he... leave from here?" he asked him in a small voice making Yoongi chuckle at his brothers cuteness.
He understood that one the reasons why Taehyung wasn't forgiving was that he was afraid Jungkook would leave him after that. The boy still wanted Jungkook around him after all that had happened between them.
" He won't. And if he does leave, I'll drag him back to this mansion. I won't let him break your heart twice. After all, I am the one who is asking a second chance for him." Yoongi said.
" But what if he still goes away?" Taehyung pouted making his brother soft for him.
" I don't have so many pillows for nothing. They are really helpful to choke someone, you know?" He said making Taehyung laugh at his brother's words.
Yoongi had always been like this. He isn't a great comforter but he has his own ways to make Taehyung smile and laugh again.
" Okay... I'll let him near me again but I won't forgive him quickly. Is that okay?" He asked his brother who nodded with a small smile.
