No more Fish

No fish!
He says no fish!
Is there a river the LORD
created with no fish
Except the one accursed ?
This, I thought,
This I did not understand.

No fish!
He declares, No fish!
And my thoughts
turned words, and I ask,
Lord, is there any river
you created without fish ?
Maybe the dead sea ?

And He replies,
His voice majestic,
thunderous, and
like Many waters,
He says,

I speak daughter,
Of the sea of forgetfulness,
I speak son of
the deepest trenches of the ocean
Where I have dumped
your past, your errors, your sin

Never to be remembered,
Never to be seen or heard of
Dear daughter
Dear son
No more repenting
No more repenting

For the sin of which
You ask of me to
forgive,
I remember not.

Amen.

Hello everyone
So, I was just listening to a sermon by a pastor here in my country, Nigeria, titled, "made for more", and, towards the end of the sermon, she said and I quote.

"When God forgives you, he puts your sin in the ocean of forgetfulness, and puts a sign there,"No fish! Stop fishing!"

Isn't that wonderful.
These were the words that inspired the write up. U won't call it a poem but
