I felt someone tapping on my shoulder and turned around immediately.
"Dad is looking for you everywhere." Andrew said. I scoffed and turned back to face the wall where's my painting hanging on.
"I'm not in the mood to see him right now, like really." I said still not looking at him
"Yeah sure but he doesn't care about that."
"Oh no. What am i gonna do now?" I said dramatically, then started walking away.
"Michelle, don't make him mad." He followed after me. "Just marry her and then later you'll divorce. Maybe you won't even divorce, she's such nice girl." I stopped walking and looked at him.
"Seriously, Andrew? You saying their bullshit too now?" He sighed. "I don't wanna marry someone I don't love." I said and continued walking wherever i was heading to.
"But you loved her before the accident! You promised her that you will marry her. You may not remember her and more other things but your heart knows."
"My heart is saying 'i don't love Jayda'. What an unfortunate, I can't control my feelings."
"Why you're so fucking stubborn?" He raised his voice.
"Why you're so fucking annoying?"
"I swe-" He stopped talking as dad appeared in our way.
"Well hello kids. Why you're yelling so loud?" Dad said raising his brow.
"I don't know, I'm gonna go for a walk now. Bye" i said then started walking back.
"We need to talk about something."
"How about later?" I looked at him and he had that look on his face. I nodded and he started walking towards his office.
After losing my memory everything got so hard. I don't know so many people who were once my close people and it's just embarrassing.
I know and i understand that it might be hard for them too but the most heavy weight is on me.
I don't feel anything for Jayda. I did try talking to her, getting to know her but i just can't love her that way.
Doctors said my memory could be getting back in few years and i really hope it'll happen soon. I'm really tired.
"Sit down" dad said sitting on his chair. I sat down and waited for him to speak. But he just sat there silent.
"So what do you wanna talk about?" I asked.
"You know what is it. I heard your talk with Andrew."
"Aaand?" I impatiently waited for him to continue.
"And well i guess you're right. You can't marry someone you don't have feelings for."
"So you're saying i can not to marry her?" I said getting a bit too excited.
"No no silly. I didn't say that." He laughed. "I'm just saying that you're right. But you're still gonna marry her." Without saying a word i got up and stormed out of his office.
I slammed the door as hard as i could and quickly walked to my room. I can't believe I'm this unlucky with having such dad.
I came into my room and fell on my bed. I breathed in before i screamed my shit out. I really wish i could run away.
"Running away isn't such good idea." I heard soft voice. I lift my head up and see Jayda standing in front of the door.
"Are you reading my thoughts?" I asked confused.
"No you're just saying your thoughts out loud sometimes" she giggled. I laid my head down back. "Every guy in my school ran after me and you are running from me? Unbelievable." She said jokingly then laid down on my bed too. I chuckled.
"No actually you're nice and cool. But i can't marry you. I don't love you that way. I'm sorry because i used to love you before losing my memory but-"
"You didn't." She said cutting me off.
"Huh?" I asked confused.
"I am not supposed to tell you this. But I'm sick of lying this long." As i was gonna ask her what is she talking about, Andrew came in running.
"Michelle, she's lying." He said breathing heavily.
"I don't understand what's happening here." I said looking at both of them.

"She doesn't remember anything." Mateo said smirking. "No one will ever tell her what happened to her and about that girl. No one will tell her about her past with Billie and me. We'll start a new life just as i wanted."
"But I can't lie to Michelle her whole life." Andrew said getting up.
"Son, i told you to do what i say and also told you what happens when you don't listen to me. Haven't i made myself clear?" Andrew looked down. "And tell Jayda the same. Tell her to really act like she is in love with Michelle. I'm not paying for bad actings."
"Okay, father." Andrew said.
He didn't want to lie to his sister. He wanted her to know the truth but he's scared of Mateo.
Mateo is that type of person who will do what he says. Even kill his own child.
He doesn't know what exactly he wants. One thing he truly wants is to be with his family, but yet he still makes them suffer and causes them pain.
