Ready player 2- Kenma x reader

you had all just got out of practice and were all packing up to get ready to go back home. you were about to leave with kuroo and kenma when you got stopped by yaku.

"y/nnnn wait up" you turn around to see yaku running to catch up with you, kenma and kuroo had looked back at the both of you both you had told them to go on without you and that you would catch up with them in a second. then you turned yourself over to yaku.

"what's up?" you ask holding on to the strap of your bookbag.

"Nothing I just wanted to ask you a question..." he says wiggling his eyebrows once again like an idiot making you chuckle a little but then before he got to ask the question you stopped him.

" does this question have anything to do with me and kenmas relationship?' you raise your eyebrow and he just looks away.

"ok it is but i promise it's a reasonable question and if i hear this answer i will finally figure out my suspicion" you rolled your eyes and let him ask you to question.

"what are your exact thoughts of kenma? like how do you feel about him?" he asks and you realized that you had never really thought about it before. you had just realized the way you felt about his physical features but you never really thought about other things. you did like the way he made you laugh without really trying. also the way he tries to hide his smile when kuroo said his corny chemistry jokes. The way he pretty chill around you guys really enjoyed your time whenever you both were around him. he constantly invited you over to let you stream with him since you said you enjoyed it so much. you enjoyed the competitive side of him and how he would yell only at least once or twice but would mostly yell tiny threats under his breath. and today you realized that he looks like he doesn't try at anything but he's really good at analyzing things.

"yaku this is stressing me out.... i've only known him for like 2-3 weeks theirs no way I can like him this was not apart of my pimp plan." you say in defeat as yaku's face lights up and then falls back down

"your pimp plan?" he raises his eyebrow. and looks at you confused.

"oh yeah.. it's just something I made yup with my friends from America baiscally we not supposed to be falling for people... at least not this quickly and not i just messed up my whole plan." you place your hand on your forehead dramatically causing yaku to laugh at you and you to nudge him in the side with your elbow.

you hear someone coming up behind you and you turn around to see kenma walking towards the both of you. you say bye to yaku and you tell him that you'll text him when you get home. then you turn your attention back over to kenma and look at him with a light smile.

"uhh kuroo asked me to come get you because he didn't want yaku to kidnap his bestfriend" he says making you chuckle and you both began walking over to kuroo.

" yeah sorry the conversation took longer than i thought it would." you said rubbing the back of your neck a letting out a nervous chuckle

"what were you guys talking about anyways?" kenma asked as he turned to look over at you.

" oh just something that our teacher said in English." you lied because you weren't to sure of your feelings and like you said you havent known him for long enough to be completely sure of your emotions so you didn't want him to thing you were weird and creepy so you kept it to yourself until you are at least 90% sure of your emotions towards him.
