Leon and Mondo had been buddies for a while.

They grew up attending the same middle school, and were two peas in a pod. Leon would always go to Mondo's to play after school, and they'd usually ride bikes or go to the baseball field. Mondo liked to help Leon practice after all.

They were both thrilled upon finding out that they'd both received a letter from Hope's Peak, requesting their attendance as the Super High School Level Baseball Player and the Super High School Level Biker Gang Leader.

So they both accepted their titles and got ready to move away to start their new lives.

Upon the first few weeks, they stayed attached to the hip as usual, poking fun at the other odd students and causing any kind of ruckus possible.

They normally walked with each other to their classes, chatting about whatever dumb thought came to mind.

They were doing so, just like any other days when it happened.

On their way to lunch, Leon bitched on about his father, per usual. After all, he already expressed how much he hated his ultimate.

Accepting here meant he'd have to stick to being good at baseball, and nothing else. Nothing he actually wanted to pursue.

He wasn't sure if Mondo was actually listening, but that didn't stop him. What did stop him, however, was the sight of a short girl with high blonde pigtails-she certainly didn't seem to belong with a bunch of high schoolers-being in some kind of lecture with a taller boy whose voice carried throughout the hall.

"Sheesh. Whatever she done must've been bad to get him acting like that," Mondo stated, noting the scene as well.

Leon chuckled at that and examined the scene closer. That was when he noted the presence of a red band attached to the male's upper sleeve.

"Oh shit, man. It's the hall monitor. I heard this guy is like, no joke when it comes to rules and shit."

"So a pain in the ass." Mondo scoffed and carried on towards the doors. "He'll stay away from us if he knows what's good for 'im."

Leon took on the scene a little more. The short girl was handed some slip which caused her to roll her eyes and storm off, but the hall monitor didn't seem phased in the slightest. He slipped his notepad back into his chest pocket and crossed his arms, watching over the halls.

Leon took in his appearance, he looked tidy in his school uniform. His hair was spiky, which only brought out his large furrowed eyebrows. His red eyes matched his overall tension. His black boots reached all the way up to his knees, and Leon wondered why a guy like that was wearing boots that looked like they belonged on a hot chick and NOT a hall monitor.

"Dude, ya comin' or what?" Leon snapped out of it as he heard Mondo's deep voice. He caught up with his friend, muttering an apology.

"What a fuckin' nerd." Leon laughed as they exited the building.

It wasn't but a few days later, Leon found himself in detention. He was caught passing notes by their teacher, who wasn't too thrilled, and quite frankly, he wasn't in the mood to argue. He didn't like having his business read out to the class anyways.

That afternoon Leon made his way to the detention room after telling his best friend goodbye. Oh how he wished Mondo would've had to go through this with him. His father wasn't going to be happy about this in the slightest, and his coach sure wouldn't appreciate his tardiness.
