"y/n!" Your mom yelled. "It's time for dinner!" You ran inside. "Did you see anything?" Your mom asked.

"No." You shook your head. "Just the usual." Your parents had you watching the village. They had this weird feeling that something bad was going to happen. They had bags ready. You sat down at the table next to your little sister, Samantha. Your dad sat down at the table. He looked at your mom. She shook her head. They did this every time. You started eating.

"How was school?" Your dad asked you and Samantha.

"It was okay." You said.

"My day was amazing!" Samantha started to rant about her day at school. You zoned out. Well, not on purpose. You were having a vision. You've been having these since you were a kid. The vision started.

Ships appeared in the atmosphere. You were standing on the ridge. Smoke filled the air. When it cleared you were in the village. Everything was burning. Bodies were everywhere. They were humans and droids. A man was in front of you. He was in white and blue armor. He's a clone. Your vision brain immediately told you he was a friend. You heard some blaster shots. The clone fell forwards, dead. You screamed. There was a battle droid pointing a blaster at you.

"y/n?" You looked up.

"Yeah?"

"I was just asking you if you learned anything new." You mom asked.

"It was just the usual." You said. You were in your last year of college. Samantha was in 2nd grade. You finished your dinner and cleaned up your plate. Everyone finished and went to do their things. You went back to watching the village. You climbed up the hill next to your house. You sat down cross legged and watched the surrounding forest. You looked up and saw three ships jump out of hyperspace into your planet's atmosphere. You instantly recognized them from your dad's descriptions of imperial ships. You jumped up and ran down the hill towards your house. "Mom, dad!" You yelled, bursting into the house.

"What is it?" Your mom asked.

"The empire is here!" You said. Your dad ran in.

"What-" He stopped short by the look on your mom's face.

"Pack the bags." She said. "Grab the bows. Get Samantha." He ran into Samantha's room and pulled her out. Then he ran into his room and came out with four bags and three energy bows. He handed you your back and an energy bow. Your mom grabbed her bow and bag. Your dad handed Samantha her bag. He passed you his bag.

"What are you doing?" You asked.

"I need to get the other villagers out of here!" He said. "Take your mom and Samantha behind the ridge. You know the way. I'll send the villagers up to the ridge. Take care of your mom and Samantha for me, promise?"

"I promise dad." He turned to the rest of the family.

"Stay out of trouble." He said. "I'll get to the ridge as soon as I can." He pulled you all into a hug one by one. "I love you all."

"I love you too." You all said. Samantha and your mom ran outside. You followed them but stopped at the doorway and turned to your dad.

"Promise me that you'll come back." You said.

"I promise." He pulled you into a hug. "I love you, y/n."

"I love you too dad." He pushed you out the door.

"Run!" He shouted at you, Samantha, and your mom. "And don't look back!" You started running and didn't stop 'till you reached the ridge. You helped Samantha up the ridge.

"I'll watch for the villagers." You said.

"Are you sure?" Your mom asked.

"Mom, you've made me watch the village for almost my whole life." You said. "I'll be fine." You gripped your energy bow and sat at the top of the ridge. After a while you saw villagers streaming out of the village. "Over here!" You yelled, waving your arm. "Over her!" The villagers started coming towards you.

"What's going on?" One of the villagers asked when they reached you.

"The empire's here." You said. The villagers went down behind the ridge to where your mom and Samantha were setting up camp. Villagers keeped coming. You saw one of your parents' friends.

"Have you seen my dad?" You asked her. She nodded.

"He's getting more villagers." She said.

"Is he okay?" You asked

"Yes." She said and walked down towards your mom. You heard a yell. You looked down at the crowd of the villagers to see them running up the ridge toward you. You looked at the village. It was burning.

"Protect the villagers!" You shouted over at your mom and ran down the ridge.

"y/n!" Your mom yelled. You didn't listen. You ran into the village. Fire was everywhere. You pulled your bow back and a bolt of electricity appeared. You slowly walked through the village, looking around. You turned a corner and saw a man climbing out of a house. He was in blue and white armor and was carrying two blasters. He's the clone from my vision! You thought immediately. You pointed your energy bow in his direction.

"Stop right there." You said. You knew it was crazy taking on a clone but maybe he was the reason the town was on fire. He saw you and put his hands up. "What are you doing here?" You demanded.

"We're here to stop the empire from invading the planet." He said.

"We?" You said.

"Me and the rest of my battalion." The clone said. You steady your shaking arms.

"You mean there's more of you?" You said. He nodded. "What happened to the village?" You asked.

"Droids." He said. "We're trying to stop them."

"Then do it better." You said. You turned around.

"Where are you going?" The clone asked.

"To find my dad." You walked away.

You climbed over a heap of ash. The clone trooper from earlier couldn't leave your mind. You heard someone walking. You turned the corner of a house and pointed your energy bow at the person.

"Dad?!" You said.

"y/n?!" Your dad said. "What are you doing here?"

"I came looking for you!" You hugged him. "Are you okay?" You asked. He nodded. "Come on!" You pulled him towards the ridge. A battle droid blocked your path. You raised your bow. Another droid appeared. Your dad raised his energy bow. Then three other droids appeared. They all raised their blasters. They were shot down. You saw two clones with blasters out. One was the one you met earlier. Your dad raised his energy bow. "It's okay dad." You said. "They're friends." He lowered his energy bow.

"Are you okay?" The clone you met earlier asked as he and the other clone walked up.

"Yes." Your dad said. "What are you doing here?" He asked.

"We're trying to stop the empire from taking over the planet." One clone said.

"Who are you?" Your dad asked.

"I'm fives." The clone you had just met said. You looked at the one who was in your vision.

"I'm Rex."
