When you got back to the camp your mom and Samantha ran up and hugged you and your dad. When they saw Rex and Fives behind you they froze.

"Don't worry." You said. "They're with us." Your mom just nodded. Samantha walked right up to Rex and Fives.

"Hi, I'm Samantha!" She said. "Are you going to save our village?" Rex nodded.

"We're doing our best." You smiled. Samantha ran back to your mom.

"Can I talk to you in private, Rex?" You asked.

"Sure." You led him to a secluded area. "What do you want to know, y/n?"

"What if all the droids come to attack the ridge? Even if the other clones from your battalion get here? None of the villagers know how to fight except for the men. And me." You said.

"If that happens, we'll call reinforcements." Rex said.

"But what if the reinforcements get here late?" You said. "We need to know how to defend ourselves."

"We can start training tomorrow." Rex said. You smiled.

"Thank you."

"You're welcome." He smiled back. Fives ran up next to Rex.

"Droids are heading towards us." He said.

"Where is the rest of the battalion?" Rex asked.

"On their way." Fives confirmed.

"Then we better start without them." Rex said. He walked toward the ridge. You and fives followed. You grabbed your energy bow. "You don't have to help us." Rex said. You smirked.

"You didn't have to stop the sepratist." You said. You walked to the ridge and saw the droids coming. "There's about 50 battle droids." You said. "And there's about 20 super battle droids."

"Take them out long range." Rex said. You nodded and raised your energy bow. A bolt of energy appeared, you aimed and shot. You hit a super battle droid in the head. It fell to the ground. You let 19 energy bolts fly into the crowd of droids. The super battle droids fell to the ground. The battle droids were pointing their blasters everywhere to find you. You took them out one by one. An energy bolt appeared and you let it fly. It hit the head of the last battle droid and it fell to the ground. Fives cheered. You looked behind you and grinned. "Good job, y/n!" Rex said. Your heart beats quicker. Then a vision sets in.

"y/n." You opened your eyes. Rex was standing next to you. "A sith is here, you need to leave." He said.

"I won't leave you." You said.

"y/n, you have to." Rex said. "Go!" He shoved you away. You started running. You looked back and saw a man in a hood. Something was... off about him. He ignited a red blade. A lightsaber.

"Rex!" You yelled. The sith ran forwards and cut Rex down. You screamed. "Rex!" The man looked up at you. He walked forwards.

"y/n." He said. "Come to the darkside." He extended his free hand. "Join me." This man wasn't like the people in your visions. He was more... real. "Join the darkside, y/n. You will have unlimited power." He's really in this vision! You realized.

"You're not a vision." You said. He nodded.

"Join me, y/n." He said. "You can hurt everyone who hurt you. You will have unlimited power." It sounded tempting. Your eyes found Rex's body.

"No."

"Excuse me?" You looked back at the sith.

"I said no." You said. You felt metal touch your palm. You looked down and saw a lightsaber. You smiled. "I've already chosen my side." You ignited it. It had a (favorite color) blade.

"You've made a bad mistake." You looked back at the man.

"I don't see it that way."

"y/n!" Your eyes snapped open. Rex was leaning over you. "y/n, are you okay?"

"What happened?" You asked.

"You just fell over." Rex said. He noticed you were shivering. "y/n..." He said. "What happened to you?" Your mom ran up.

"What happened?" She asked Rex.

"She just collapsed." Rex said. "She seemed fine, then she collapsed. Then she screamed. Twice." Your mom looked concerned.

"I'm fine." You got up. "Has your battalion gotten here yet?" You asked Rex. He nodded.

"Their setting up tents for the villagers." He said. "You should get some rest."

"I said I'm fine." You said shakely.

"Clearly you aren't." Your mom said. "Take Captain Rex's advice, get some rest." You rolled your eyes. "y/n, you need rest."

"I don't need rest!" You said. "I'm fine!"

"You need rest!" Your mom said. Rex was gone.

"Well, thanks for asking about my vision!" You said.

"y/n, you had a vision!" Your mom said. "What happened?!"

"Oh now you want to know!" You said. "Nothing happened! Just the usual death and destruction! I totally didn't get asked to come to the dark side!" You stormed away.

"Where are you going?" Your mom yelled after you. "Don't leave the camp!"

You climb up onto a tree covered part of the ridge that only you know about. You had taken your energy bow with you in case you came across any battle droids. Angry tears spilled on your face.

"Use your rage." Someone said. You jumped up and whirled around. It was the man from your vision. He took off his hood. He was an old man.

"You." You said venomously. "I already told you my answer. No." He sighed and shook his head.

"You have so much rage in you." He said.

"And what's that got to do with it?" You asked.

"Use your rage to fuel you." He said. "You can take out the battle droids with a nudge of your hand."

"But they're your droids." You said.

"You can save that clone captain." He said. "What was his name? Ah. Rex."

"Don't you dare say his name." You said. "I hate you."

"You can use that pain and hate." The old man said. "The Jedi will tell you to suppress it. With me you can use it. Channel it. You can do whatever you want." You half smiled. "Just join the darkside." He held out his hand. "Just take my hand." Your hand moved up towards his.

"y/n, no!" You turned to see Rex. "Don't do it!" The sith pulled out a blaster and shot Rex in the chest.

"Rex!" You yelled and ran over to him. You shook him. "Rex, please wake up!" He didn't. "Rex!" He still didn't move. "Rex!" Tears began pouring down your face again. "No!" You screamed. Something exploded out of you. It sent the sith flying into a tree. You screamed. You felt energy leaving your body. Two words appeared in your head. The force. The energy stopped. You gasped, still staring up at the sky. "No." You whispered. You fell onto Rex. "No, no, no, no!" You started crying harder. "I'm sorry, Rex. I'm so so sorry." Something left your body into Rex's chest. He stirred. You sat up. "Rex?" His eyes opened and saw you leaning over him.

"y/n? Are you okay?" He asked. "Did he hurt you?"

"No." You shook your head. "How are you?" You asked. You looked down at his blaster wound.

"I'll be okay." He said. You looked into his eyes.

"You need help." You stated.

"No I don't." He grinned. You rolled your eyes. "Okay, fine." He said. "Only because you said so." You smiled. "y/n?"

"Yeah?" He propped himself up on his elbows and leaned closer to you. "Rex?" You said, staring into his eyes. He kissed you.
