Saying goodbye was the hardest part. You lay awake in your tent thinking about what to say. Samantha was sleeping next to you and your parents were in another cot on the other side of the tent. You got up, trying not to wake Samantha. You left the tent and found a clearing. You lay down on the grass and looked up at the stars. They twinkled at you as if they were winking. You sighed.

"How do I say goodbye?" You asked yourself.

"Tell them you're leaving." You jumped up and looked around. No one was there. You scanned the forest around you harder. "Tell them you're leaving." The voice said again.

"Who said that?" You demanded. A silvery figure stepped out of the trees. He had long hair and a beard.

"I did." He said calmly.

"Who are you?" You asked.

"I am Qui-gon Jinn, a jedi knight." The silvery man said.

"Why are you all glowy?" You asked.

"Because I'm dead." The jedi said calmly.

"If you're dead then how are you here?"

"I am a force ghost." He said. "I only appear to people with the force."

"So you're saying I have the force?" You said. "So I'm really going to be a Jedi."

"Or a sith." Qui-gon said. "Whichever path you choose." He paused, scanning you. "You've almost gone to the dark side. How did that happen?"

"I met Darth Tyrannus." You said. "He almost turned me."

"What stopped you?" Qui-gon asked.

"A clone." You said. "His name is Rex."

"Ahh CT-7567." Qui-him said. "He is a good clone." He paused and watched you again. "You're feeling better." He said.

"I just like that I have someone to talk to." You said, smiling. "No one back at camp would understand." Qui-gon nodded and smiled.

"I'm glad I could help." He began to disappear.

"Wait." You said. "When will I ever see you again?"

"Either when I come to you or you call me."

"How do I do that?" You asked.

"Just say my name." Qui-gon began to fade again.

"Thank you Qui-gon." You said, smiling.

"Your welcome, y/n." Qui-gon smiled and disappeared. You turned and went back to camp. You got dressed and went to the ridge. The sun was rising. You sat at the top of the ridge and watched as the sun rose. You got lost in your thoughts. You clicked back into reality and heard the sound of training in the camp. By the sky they would be finishing up any moment. Just then the noises stopped. All of them. The only sound was the cracking of things burning. You were in a vision. You had had this vision before.

You stood, paralyzed. In front of you was a sea of bodies. Droids, humans, and clones mixed with rubble. This was where the village was. You saw something in the rubble. A blue and white helmet. Rex's. There was a lightsaber near it. You instantly recognized it as Anakin's. They were dead. All of them. And you were the only survivor. You and Darth Tyrannus.

You opened your eyes. Training had stopped. Someone came up behind you.

"How long have you been up here?" Anakin asked.

"Judging by the position of the sun, nine hours." You said.

"You couldn't sleep?" He asked. You nodded.

"I went to get some fresh air and when I came back the sun was rising." You said.

"Have you decided ?" Anakin asked. You looked back at him.

"Yes." You said. "I'm going to Coruscant." Anakin smiled.

"You better get to saying goodbyes." He said. "We're attacking Dooku and his forces after noon." You nodded and got up. You wobbled. Your legs were asleep. You walked to the camp and found your parents.

"Mom, dad." You said. "I have to tell you something."

"What is it, y/n?" Your dad asked. You took a shaky breath.

"y/n, are you okay?" Your mom asked.

"I'm going to Coruscant." You said. "I'm going to be a Jedi." Your parents didn't say anything. "I'll call you when I get there." You bowed and left the tent. You found Samantha. "Hey Samantha, can I talk to you?"

"Yeah!" Samantha smiled and ran over to you. "What is it y/n?"

"I'm leaving." You said. "I'm going off the planet. I'm going to be a Jedi." You gave Samantha a small smile.

"Don't leave!" Samantha began to cry.

"I have to." You said. Your smile turned sad. "I'll miss you." You pulled out a com link and gave it to Samantha. "I'll call every day." You said. "You can tell me what you did that day." Samantha smiled. "We'll see each other again." You said. "And I'll show you the different planets." Samantha's smile grew wider. She hugged you. You hugged back. "I'll leave tomorrow." You said "So we still have time."
